DH wants to get another laptop, so HE can go get it wherever he finds the best deal. I did the cold & rain all night a few years ago with him, but this year, he’s on his own!

I’m going to be looking at the cheap DVD’s. That’s how I build my collection. Cheap DVD’s. I will be eyeballing that XBox. I have one but not the 360 so I’ll have to think about that buy……

I’m going for the comforter set and sheets for sure. I bought both of these last year on Black Friday and we love them. The set last year was brown/gold, so the blue/brown this year will give us a change. The sheets are a great deal, the only ones DH likes now, so I definitely need another set..or two.

I’m also thinking about the $28 vaccuum as a back up. I bought the one for $25 last year and it is the most powerful one I’ve ever had. It doesn’t have any attachments or anything, but it is well worth the money! You can set it in the middle of the room, turn it on, and it will suck up everything around it. So, if anyone is looking for a simple vaccuum, I definitely suggest this one!

I wasn’t planning on going. I hardly ever have any money on Black Friday. But I have to get the jeans, hoodies and pajama sets that are $8. I’m just trying to figure out how many I can afford to get.

Those vacuums are cute. I’d like to get one but I don’t need one :(

Does anyone know if the early bird deals will be available online or do we have to go and *fight* the crowd. That’s exactly what it’s going to be my neighborhood Walmart too… they’re not planning any crowd control. They’re going to wrap the deals and post someone to cut the plastic at 5a. They’re not planning to give line numbers; it’s going to be a free for all!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
