There is also a $2 manufacturers coupon that was in the Sunday paper inserts within the past month or two, sorry I don’t know the exact date. It expires 12/31/09.

Ooops disregard my above post. The $2 coupon is not for the same size as the RR item. Sorry!

You can also pick up cheap Listerine, reach toothbrush and floss at CVS this week, if you have the $5.00 off of 3 different items coupon from the SS Insert on 8.2 the ECB’s has a limit of 3. you’ll end up paying 33¢ for each one after ECB’s and coupon.

Gee-you know I still have a good 5-6 Listerine’s from a previous WGS deal. And don’t get me started on the tbrushes-yikes! I must have a good 50-even tho we donate a bunch! I’ve had to move all this stockpile to a sep room in our house. LOL!

I tried this. I did not receive the $2 RR. The store manager said using a coupon at time of purchase voids out the RR’s. She went ahead and printed one out for me since I was disgusted!

Coupons don’t void the RRs printing. There must have been something else going on, Kelly. Did you by chance pick up a different variety or size? I know I’ve mistakenly picked up the wrong ones before when they get moved around.

Nope, I picked the right one. And it even had the RR ad hanging right below it. The clerk and store manager both verified I had the correct item. The clerk, who I approached first (after I had checked out, gotten into my car to leave and then decided to go back in an question the missing RR’s) told me “its probably because you used a coupon” I did not accept that and asked where it was posted on the little tag. So she got a manager and the manager told me the same thing. I was like “umm is this a regional thing because I heard about this offer from a website and it seems to work for everyone else” She rolled her eyes, told me she knows all about the “coupon websites”, informed me they are not “legit” and I cant get RR’s if using a coupon nor can I pay for items using RR’s and get more RR’s even if the RR’s are being offered with the product I am purchasing. I am new to all this and not an expert so I did not argue. She printed out the $2 RR as a customer courtesy but told me to be aware for future reference it wont work. *shrug* This occurred in Bowling Green, KY. and they do not carry the 3 pick vitamin on the go packs which i love!

LOL — it seems kind of silly, if you ask me, to be angry that the coupon sites are sending her customers. I would never step foot in Walgreens otherwise with their prices. Sheesh!!!

Your RRs should print even if you use coupons.

RRs will not print if you use them to purchase the same deal you earned them on. However, if you use them to purchase a different deal, they will print.

So you cannot use the RRs you earned buying Crest Toothpaste to purchase more Crest Toothpaste and expect them to print again. But you can use the Crest Toothpaste RRs to purchase Right Guard Deodorant that’s giving RRs and they will print. (These are just examples for to demonstrate for clarification.)

If you haven’t read the Walgreens 101 post, there’s more information there.

Just tried this deal earlier this evening – no luck – not on sale and no register rewards. I actually still had to buy it though… urghhh.. :) I have gotten rather spoiled with my bargains!

    Thanks for the effort,

    Sally

It’s very trouble-free to find out any matter on web as compared to textbooks, as I found this article at this website.
