Walgreens EasySaver Rebates for September

August 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski 36 Comments

Okay, I’m still learning the ropes on this Walgreens thing, but in an effort to offer some coverage on other stores (and maybe a little selfishly because I had a great trip last Saturday at Walgreens and I want to learn more myself), I’m starting with the items that are free after the EasySaver rebates for September. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the whole “double-dipping” thing that I’m seeing frequently, so if anyone wants to take a stab at it, it would be greatly appreciated!

Start buying all 9 great free after mail-in rebate items Friday, August 29th. I’m guessing you have to start early for the best selection. Do they restock throughout the month? Thanks for taking the time to educate me a little, guys!

Update 9/10/08: Wow, Wags just extended 3 EasySaver rebate deals from last month, so that makes 12 freebies in all. Scroll down for the details!!!

From what I understand, you have to go to the pharmacy and ask them about their prescription savings club, and then they will give you a coupon book “just for asking!”.

They tend to restock throughout the month. I wait to buy mine when there are 5 off 25 coupons or when the FAR item is on sale for that week. HTH

YMMV is on restocking. But, I always wait to get my FAR items near the end of the month in case a coupon comes out you can use so it will become a money-maker. Have fun Wags’ing!!

Anon, it’s actually IVC, and I just figured out that it’s “instant value coupon.” I’m so proud of myself, LOL! It’s the coupons that are in the front of the EasySaver catalog.

An example of double dipping this month is the Gald Plugins Scented Oil warmer, Walgreens has it on sale this week bogo. In September easysaver catalog there is a $4 rebate if you purchase 4. You have to purchase on Aug 29 or 30th for it to apply. I hope this helps.

I just got a $10 off your $40 purchase from Walgreen’s in my inbox. Be on the lookout! This could stack nicely with some of the coups and EasySavers! :)

I usually wait until later in the month to get my FARs, so I can roll me FAR money from the previous month.

With Walgreens Rebates, can you request them at any time, or is it only once a month? Also, can you use a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon? Thanks!

You can enter them online throughout the month and save them, but once you submit to request them, you can’t add to your list. So the best thing is to add as you go, and then submit them at the end of the month when you’re sure you’re done shopping.

And yep, you can stack the Walgreens coupons with manufacturer coupons.

I’ll be writing a guide to shopping at Walgreens very soon, so check back!
