I’ve never known ANY store to let you use just one B1G1 coupon and then take whatever you want past the one purchased for free. For each B1G1 coupon, you’ll actually have to B1 to get 1 for free. Has anyone actually gotten a store to accept only one coupon and give away more than one item? For all my years of couponing, I’d seriously like to know how that’s done. :o)

Just until a few days ago, Walgreens was accepting the B1G1 coupons in conjuction with the Wags $s off coupons. I think they reevaluated their policies after the Stayfree and Reach deals last week and have stopped doing this deal. I think they realized that everyone was getting too much of the free stuff. I tried several stores in different cities here in Az, as well as the friendly cashier at the reg Walgreens, they will deduct $ off only 1 item.

I was still able to do the Stayfree and Reach deals here…no problem. I live in Texas.

I’m a newbie with a question on the Kleenex deal. The in ad coupon for Kleenex says limit 3. Above it states it will deduct for all 6. Which is it?

I was able to do the Reach deal once today but the second time they got wise, it was still a good deal though ($1 more).

Christine, Mercedes emailed me and told me that the Kleenex deal will not work, so I deleted it. Sorry!

Amy, the Spot Shot coupon may be regional, but I see it. Try using the brand dropdown to make it easier to find.

This is the weirdest thing . After complaining about Walgreens, I go there this evening and they not only let me do the Reach deal, they were actually bonus packs of 2 T/B’s in one. So this is what my shopping spree looked like:
    4 x Hunts Tomato Sauce @ .99 each
    2 x Chips Ahoy @ .99 each
    2 x Reach 2 packs @ 3.99 each
    2 x Neosporin Lip @ 4.00 each

used wags cpn for 2/- off Reach x 2
    B1G1 Reach
    Neosporin 3/1 x 2
    Hunts 2.40 Wag cpn
    1 RR for 5/-
    Total OOP was .53 + .96 tax for a total of 1.49 with 2 RR’s totaling 5/-!!!!

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for sharing these couponing tips!!

The Triaminic $2 coupon link actually prints $1.50 coupon. Also, with the Oust B1G1, if the ad offers B1G1, and you have a B1G1 coupon that you use with it, this results in buying one and getting two free, not three. I did the same deal with Nivea lip balm today at Rite Aid.

Terri, Riteaid’s coupon policy clearly states that they take B1G1 coupons for B1G1 sales and both are free, no need to buy 3 to use 1 coupon. Did it this week on the Stayfree and Nivea at my 3 stores, total oop each time $0. For some reason the tax went away too when she entered the full price for the coupon.

For the Kleenex the ad coupon does say “limit 3” but that’s more like a guideline. The coupon will work for however many you buy. They try to limit people from clearing the shelves.

Does anyone know what the price of the B1G1 products are like the Windex, Fantastik, Lysol?

Help!!!! I tried to do the L’Oreal hair color couponing…my walgreens wouldn’t let me use the 2/$13 and the $3 off coupon…they said I had to choose…is this legit…I would have asked for my coupons (2 $2 off) if she hadn’t written on them already.

Yes, you definitely should have been able to use all three coupons according to this recent policy I posted:

The ad today has L’oreal $3 off. Does anyone know if this is a store sale, no coupon? If so, could you use manufacturer coupons to get additional $ off? I don’t see anything on the ad stating that the $3 off requires a coupon. Anybody else?

Oh, my did I ever have problems at Wags today! The Bic razors 2/$10, with coupon in the January book along with my B1G1 coupon just didn’t fly with the manager ringing me out. Also the Oust B1G1 coupon he insisted I couldn’t use because was already getting one free, I had to “buy the othe one” and couldn’t use a coupon for that one! I finally told him to forget it and take those items off and just ring the other stuff. I am sure if I go to another Wags this week I will have no problem using my coupons. It was so bad the lady behind me in line even commented “well you have the exact items pictured on the coupons”, which just made the manager more irritated!

I am happy with the deals I got. Although I didn’t get the cookies or the Oust. Just the toothbrushes (B1G1 packages – must be an AZ thing!) so 4 for free! And 4 Neosporin, 2 Stayfree. I’m happy! Thanks for the goodies!

I held up the line for awhile and left feeling like I had paid WAY too much for the little amount of stuff I got. I hate that feeling.

Had big problems with the L’Oreal hair color. Even though the Wags Q says “L’Oreal Preference” … with no disclaimer that it’s a certain type of L’Oreal Preference … the Wags cashier said it had to be the type pictured (Dream Blonde). Asked her to scan it anyway since the text just says, “L’Oreal Preference or Couleur Experte” and it would not take. Wondering if this was always true this week or if Wags changed it so the Q would only ring up with the pictured L’Oreal “Dream Blonde” brand after too many people got a great deal. Anyone else have this problem?
