I love your website! Thanks for doing it! I wanted to ask, the back of the Huggies coupon in the Walgreens booklet says: “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens.” Are you allowed to use two manufacturer coupons? I just want to make sure I’m not ripping anyone off. Thanks for your help.

My store X’d out the $2 and black markered it to $1, so I wonder if it will still ring up $2 off.

I had the same question – the Back to Schools are all MFG coups.

My understanding is that they are Walgreens coupons, even though they say manufactures coupon. Something to do with the numerical code under the bar code tells you if it is one or the other. So yes, they can be stacked with a real MFG coup.

My coupon also says $2 off on the front but on the backside says $1 off. I bought 2 tubs of huggies natural care wipes (72 count). The cashier scanned the coupon from the pamphlet 1st and it took off $4. Then I handed him (2) $.50 off coupons, but only one went through. The cashier at my store only allowed me to use one $.50 c saying that the pamphlet coupons were manufacturers coupons. Still a good deal for me at $.65 a tub.

I just got back from my Walgreens. I bought 3 wipe cases-64 ct. They were $2.79. I used the one store $2 off and it took $6 off. Then I used 2 $ .50 coupons and 1 $ .75 coupon. The $.75 coupon worked but the $ .50 coupons didn’t scan, so he called the manager and the manager had to manually enter them and it worked! So I got 3 tubs for $.62 !! That is $ .20 a case! Thank you SO much for the heads up on this, I plan on going back multiple times before the 29th to stock up.

The coupon is a misprint on the back and should take off $2 for each package of wipes you buy. The discount will be taken off all at once, so if you have 10 packages, you will see a $20 discount. The receipt says it is a manufacturer’s coupon, but I have used three .75 coupons from Huggies mailers with no problem. You should be able to keep the Back to School coupons for future purchases, too. I always hand over the manufacturer’s coupons before using Walgreens coupons… in this case, the .75 ones before the $2 one.

I did this last night. I got 10 tubs of 72 ct. wipes for $2.90. With three kids in diapers, I’ll be doing this again as soon as next Sunday’s coupons come out!

I did this deal about 5 times last week. Makes great fillers to use RRs! The Huggies coupons have $2 on the front and $1 on the back, but it rings up at $2 per box. It also reads “manufacturer coupon” on the back, but it works like a Walgreen’s coupon (notice the zeroes in the UPC code). Just make sure to hand the Walgreen’s coupon to the cashier first before handing the Huggies manufacturer coupon otherwise the register will beep. Only one coupon is necessary per transaction – it automatically multiplies the coupon per the number of boxes you’re buying.

Cheryl – the Back-to-School coupon booklet is free. My store has them up front by the weekly circular.

I LOVE this deal … and was happy to get them for 79cents each… (with $2.00 off Back to School coupon) but my additional manufacturer coupons wouldn’t beep through and the manager said it was because the others “were” manufacturers coupons…but I will still super pleased to get wipes at that price. Also…make sure to check out the pharmacy/medicine area…my Walgreens was clearancing lots of cold meds/tylenol/etc becuase new packaging is coming out (what my manager told me) and I got several items (i posted a photo) for $1.59 each on Children’s Tylenol, Nyquil, Dayquil and more (reg. $7.99 – $12.99) and all still have great expiration dates. What I love about Walgreens is that you never know what you might find!!!
    Happy day all!!

Kelly, there’s a link in the post that takes you to a list of Huggies Wipes coupon auctions on eBay, or you could try one of the coupon clipping services listed on my coupons tab at the top of this page.

My Walgreens has irritatingly raised the prices of the huggies wipes to 3.99, then proclaiming 2.00 off. (while the pampers wipes are still 2.99) So… not such a good deal for me. :(

Don’t forget if you buy 4 boxes of wipes and use 5 coupons you have to have 1 filler item so maybe that’s why it beeped. I bought 4 boxes today – used 1 Walgreens $2.00 off coupon & 3 – 0.50 & 1 0.75 & got one 0.33 filler candy. NO beeps – gave manuf. coupons first then Walgreens.

    YEAH!

My kids are 7,10 & 11 but we stil use these in the car & everywhere. GREAT DEAL!

Here’s a deal for the Kraft Shells and Cheese:
    Buy 4/$4:
Use 2 BOGO coupon from 8-9 SS
Use $1/4 from Wags Back to school coupons
    Earn $1 RR
    Profit of $.58
I did it tonight the RR was a suprise bonus!

Deanna – I’m not following your Kraft Mac & Cheese deal, but maybe I’m not doing the math right. Using (2) BOGO coupons and the $1/1 Back-to-School coupon takes off a total of $3 … if you’re buying 4/$4, then how do you make a profit instead of paying the leftover $1?

There is a $1 RR. Just make sure you have enough items. I made an oops and pain with old rr so i didn’t get a new one.

Tricia – the $1 RR would make the Shells & Cheese free in the end, but Deanna said she made a $0.58 profit?

My walgreens huggie wipes are 3.29 but still a good deal. I got 3 at one store then went to another and got 2 more , also went to a third store and they were only 2.79 but were sold out. (Walgreens are on every corner around here ) I still have 8 coupons left so plan on going more later on.

Hi. I was really excited for this Huggies deal but today when I went to Walgreens it didn’t work out so well. The first Walgreens I checked was completely out. The second store had plenty on the shelves…but refused to let me buy more than one. I thought this coupon worked like if you bought 5 tubs it would take off $10 automatically etc. Grr…frustrating and I needed wipes too! Has anyone else had this happen?

Okay things didn’t work out for me either. The first Wags store the wipes were 3.79 so I head to the next store, 2.79. I thought great I will get a deal… but the cashier told me it was the wrong coupon. She called the manager and she told me its a typo and actually the coupon is for $1 off only. She also said the $2 off was for the refills and those are more expensive! I’m so confused. Super sad no cheap wipies for me!

Meagan, that’s how the coupon should have worked. It’s just multiplied times the number of packages purchased.

Emily, the coupon doesn’t specify a size. As far as it being a typo, it seems to me that the typo would be the $1 because it scans for $2 off.

I just started couponing so I just agreed with her on it. I did tell her that the refills didn’t come in 64 count which is what the coupin says 64-216 count. She just seemed like she didn’t want to give me the deal or she had no idea. The cashier said it wouldn’t ring up either. I’m thinking about trying again in the morning.
