Here in St. Charles, MO the blu ray was also $19.99 at Wal Mart. Great deal with the coupon and rebate.

By the way, TOY R US doesn’t do price match, their price is $34.99, way higher than other stores.

The last post I was talking about Bluray 4disc too.

Hi to use the MIR you need to send original tear off tab from the DVD. So you can’t use both MIRs unless I’m missing something. So ie: Target 24.99 – 8.00 coupon =16.99 – 5.00 MIR =11.99 not 6.99.

Sunny – The campbells takes a photocopy. I can’t remember the other rebate…but you should still be able to keep a photocopy for yourself and send the orginal if you have to for the second. I love it when there are two rebates!! Makes for a sweet deal. And to think I used to be a Disney Movie club member before I started couponing. Silly me. :)

When I called Campbell’s a few weeks ago on the rebate (going to send it for Beauty & the Beast), they told me you need to send the ORIGINAL receipts for both the soup & for the movie. It doesn’t say on the rebate form, but if they told me original receipts ONLY, I don’t know why they would change that now.

Interesting. I guess we’ll see how it all shakes out. I always send copies unless the rebate form says originals. They’ll have a hard time denying any rebates with copies though since it doesn’t specify. I bet it still works.

I’m a little disgusted that Toys R Us has the blue ray priced so high. I bought the pre-order in October in order to get a great deal on Beauty & the Beast, but didn’t expect them to hike up the price so much more than the competitors! I don’t need or want the tin or the clock. Ugh!

That is so not true. I went to BB today and bought two copies with two $8 coupons. BB does not take their store coupons on sale DVDs and Blus, but this is a manufacturer coupon that is considered a form of payment. I have heard many reports of misguided BB employees saying this to their customers. Contact BB company service and explain the situation, their policy clearly lists manufacturers coupons as a form of payment rather than a discount.

Itunes has Toy Story 3 for 9.99 but I believe it is only for today. My kids love to watch movies on our IPAD, IPod and computer. This is a great price.

If you buy the blue ray combo, it comes with a digital copy for your ipod, ipad, etc. So for $6.99 after rebates and queues, you get a DVD, blue ray DVD, & digital copy to use! Much better deal than itunes!

I purchased the blue ray dvd set at Meijers in Cincinnati for $24.99, got a Mattel Cars Mater ($3.50) free with purchase of dvd, an extra $4 off purchasing 2 of Meijers brand batteries (which I needed), and used the $8 coupon, so $12.99 + tax and a free toy. After the rebates, I’m seeing $2.99 for the movie, free soup, and batteries at a good cost for Christmas!

Well, I still felt “obligated” to buy Toy Story 3 at TRU since I put the deposits down last month, and this is what I wound up with:
2 Beauty and the Beast Blu Ray Combo Packs, 2 Toy Story 3 Blu Ray packs, a Belle’s Magical tea cart, 2 TS3 clocks, 1 popcorn tin, and a giant stuffed dog. What I paid OOP: $64.75. What I could have paid: $215. I was given a $10 gift card today (my Blu Ray total was over $40), which I plan on using on a Hasbro game (my OOP should be less than $1), and getting the chocolate Scrabble for free. I’ve gotten everything for over 70% off, and I’ve gotten presents for 6 people on my Christmas list. I’m pretty happy. I will also submit for the rebates!

I felt the same way about TRU having the price so high. But I am looking at the total cost (including the sales/coupons/rebates) for both DVD/BluRay combos for Beauty & the Beast and TS3 and averaging them and feeling a bit better. The clock was a bonus but not needed. I will probably end up donating it.

I am pretty sure you could still get a refund on your pre-order at TRU- I am thinking they may do a 2 day sale or something in next week so I am waiting a few days to see what shakes out- I think the clock deal is good for a few weeks yet or until supplies run out :)

Tamara – How do I get a refund on the TRU deposit, when I got a $10 coupon for doing it? I’m a little dissapointed in TRU. I find they often do this kind of bait and switch type stuff. Last Christmas I was so frustrated with them I returned 1/2 or more of my stuff because their deals weren’t deals after Target released their coupons and such. Anyway, the popcorn and clock really aren’t free since we are paying $10 more for the movie than other retailers are selling it. But I’m planning to use the clock as a gift anyway.

I read somewhere else that Toys R Us is telling some people that they will refund the $5 pre-order deposits even though they got $10 off another DVD because they won’t price match anymore.

Safeway had the blue-ray/dvd/digital combo pack for $29.99 and took the $8 coupon. I went there because they included 4 giveaway items: 8pk Dasani water bottles, box of Kraft Mac & Cheese (any shape), box of Keebler Club crackers (your choice), and a Toy Story water bottle. All things considered, I was pretty happy with Safeway.

You can use the $3 off any TS3 and another Disney DVD/BluRay (expires 12/31/10) with the $8 Manu. coupons….I specifically asked if it was considered manu or store. She scanned my $8 coupons first, then the $3, and everything worked just fine.

I am going to get mine at Publix. It is 14.99 and use the 5.00 off any DVD 12 dollars or higher. My Publix will take Walgreens coupons so I am going to use the 10 RR’s from the Sinex. Basically I made a dollar after the rebate on Cambells

I didn’t realize TRU didn’t price match anymore– glad I checked these comments before I headed out!!

TRU had coupon books at the counter in the video game section… I had a new clerk who let me try to use the $3 off TS3 + any other disney movie, and the computer took it!! I had reserved a copy of TS3 already + had the $8 coupon for the combo. I also bought the new Tinker Bell DVD (using the $5 coupon now available). Paid $ 33.98 with a $10 GC to use possibly on Barbie movies. Also got the clock which I dropped in the Toys for Tots bin.
The new Barbie movie, BTW, is $9.99 with a coupon attached for $5 off any other Barbie movie WYB both.
We don’t have a bluray player, but when I was at Target later I did a quick price check and I paid slightly less OOP than I would have if I had bought the two DVDs only at Target (+ got the GC).
