Target: Ultra Cheap Beef, Soup, Applesauce + More

March 4, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 16 Comments

target

I’ve got a few more new Target deals to share with you as well!

Also, I’ve had some of you ask about the Target corporate coupon policy lately, so check out this previous post I did on the topic. It provides the most recent information I have.

I do know that their latest coupons state one coupon per transaction, but stores are not enforcing this in my experience. If they do, unless the deal hinges on using multiple coupons in a scenario to earn a gift card, you would be perfectly within your rights as a customer to ask them to ring each purchase separately. Nine times out of ten, they’ll just ring them all in one transaction then.

Sutton & Dodge Beef Round Steak & Roasts, $2.49/lb.
$2/1 Target printable
Buy in 1-lb. increments for $0.49/lb.!
(Thanks, Melissa!)

Mott’s Applesauce, $1.77
$1/1 Target printable
$0.77 after coupon!
(Thanks, Common Sense with Money!)

Market Pantry Soups, $0.54
$0.50/2 Target printable
$0.29 ea. after coupon!
(Thanks, Coupon Cravings!)

Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer, $1.92
$1/1 Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer, exp. 4-30-09 (SS 2/22/09)
$1/1 Target printable
FREE after coupons!
(Thanks, Money Saving Mom!)

Be sure to check out the other Target Weekly Deals, and it’s possible that you can still get fresh broccoli for just $0.50 at Super Target!

The Renuzit was $1.66 at my supertarget and I was expecting the target coupon to adjust down like it usually does. Well it didn’t… it gave the overage or 34 cents one each one!

Question for you….Can you use the Target coupons that say “SuperTarget” at the bottom at a regular Target, too? I don’t live by a SuperTarget, but my Target still has a lot of grocery items like soups, applesauce, etc. But those coupons say “SuperTarget” at the bottom. Just checking. Thanks!

The Mott’s applesauce was only $1.69 for a 6-pack here in Spokane, WA. I forgot to print my coupons at home, so I printed 2 at the registry kiosk in the store … it was great! Only $.69 each after coupons! These coupons did say Super Target, but worked just fine at my regular Target. There were also a bunch of office/art supplies on clearance too. I picked up a pair of spiral bound notebooks and some kid’s scissors for $.48 each!

Lana, yep, you can use the Super Target coupons at a regular Target if they carry the items.

Leslie, I’ve never had that problem. In fact, I had a few that wouldn’t scan the other night, so the cashier just keyed them in by hand, but if they won’t scan, you could go to the in-store kiosk and try printing some more. Here’s a recent post on how to do it.

My target had london broil on sale for 1.99 a lb. I got 14 packages, gave a coupon to a lady I saw buying one and left plenty on the shelf for others. The other steak was not on sale for me though.

    Thanks!!!!!!

We don’t have a SuperTarget here, but I was able to get 8 packs of Mott’s Natural Applesauce, and I intend to go back for more before those coupons expire! The expiration date on the applesauce isn’t for 16 months!

I have one target near me that will not take the printable target coupons if they won’t scan, the manager also says the samething. It has happened to me 3 times at this same target. Last time I tried to use the printable ones from the website I printed them in store and when they said they couldn’t use them I made a big fuss about why would they let customers print them in store if they can’t use them, and they finally let me use them.

For the applesauce you can go to motts.com and under promotions print out a $.55 manufacturer’s coupon to use with the Target coupon. I think the total then is $.22 for a pack.

My local Target posted a sign at the door that states you can only use 1 of the Sutton&Dodge steak/roast coupons PER DAY! Plus an ignorant checker said I was only allowed to use 1 coupon per transaction (yes) and I couldn’t use multiple coupons. I had 1 Motts, 1 beef and 1 shout printable. I politely told her, yes, 1 coupon OF EACH KIND per transaction. Ugh!!
