Suggested Scenario
Buy (4) Kellogg’s Cereals at $2.66 (B3G1)
Use (4) $1/1 Kellogg’s Printable Coupons
Use (3) $1/1 Kellogg’s Target Coupons
$0.25 ea. after coupons!
YMMV on using 4 Target coupons — some stores may allow you to only use 3 since one item is free. In this case the cereal would still be just $0.25 each which is still an awesome deal!
Update: The registers will only allow you to use 3 Target coupons. The fourth will bring up a message that you can’t use a coupon on a free item.
Also, it appears that all Kellogg’s cereals are qualifying for this offer; however, only a handful are at the $2.66 price point. The prices ranged from $2.66 to $3.99, so you final price may vary based upon the variety you purchase and the coupons you have.
Whitney
How do you use 4 Target coupons at once? (I mean in one transaction?)
Nikki
You are buying 4 items and have 4 coupons for each item, all in one transaction. Plus with Target coupons you can print as many as you want. It isn’t a limited supply like manufacture coupons. I think the only trick would be actually having what you need (yes I mean need to do the deal once, not want as in doing the deal repeatedly) in stock. Sometimes I go several times for hot items and every time I leave empty-handed.
Heartland Hannah
Kelloggs.com and redplum have coupons that may work for this sale too : )
Vanessa
How do you use 3 or 4 Target coupons for Kellogg’s in the same transaction? The coupon says something about “limit one offer per transaction”. I always thought this meant I could only use one of the same kind of Target coupon per transaction. This will be great if you really can. Cool.
Carrie
Yea, I have the same doubt as Vanessa and Whitney. Can you explain this more throughly? Thanks.
Carrie
On the target coupon, it says “Limit one offer per transaction”. I don’t understand how you can use 4 in a single transaction.
Mike
Yeah I agree with Vanessa, Witney and Carrie. It says “Limit One Offer per transaction”. I don’t know how well this would work at the cash register.
Renae
It depends on your Target. Some stores do allow more than one of the same Target coupon per transaction. Others will not.
Kate
It depends on your Target as to whether or not they will accept one or more Target coupons at once. My Target will accept one target coupon per item even if I am buying more than one of the items.
Debra
If you buy 10, you can use the 09 Calendar Rewards offer to rec’v $10 back… might even be a money maker but don’t have the time to do the math. Going to check it out today – trying to get the $10 off jeans tockens too!
thanks for the post!
Dana
My Publix has blinkies for $1/1 Kelloggs Fruit Loops or Apple Jacks so you could pair that with the Target coupons also. My Target lets me use as many as I want in one transaction. I did this last week by price matching with CVS for $2 per box then stacked the coupons and got them free.
Tiffany
Several Safeway stores in my area (Denver) still have the blinkies Dana is talking about. My Target lets me use as many as I want as well. I have never had a problem with limitations at Target. Good luck to all. I am picking up some for home and the food pantry.

As far as taking more than one Target Coupon even though it states limit one per transaction, one of my local Target Stores limit 4 per transaction, but another store lets you use as many as you want per transaction (obviously that is the store I go to most even though it is a few extra miles). It all just depends on your local store!
Ruth
I’m in Downriver Detroit and our target allows as many as you want per transaction– they even let you print them in store for free so you don’t even pay for the ink or paper. SWEET!
Victoria
I went and used 30 of the same target coupons in one transaction! They didn’t care that it says limit one offer per transaction. I’m lucky I have a good target!
Carrie
I have another question. Most of the time you can only print manufacturer’s coupon for twice, how do you manage to get more than 2 mfr’s coupon? Thanks.
arianna
The Target coupons state clearly “one per transaction” and every time I tried to use more than one I have been told by cashiers and managers that I cannot.
I’m surprised so many people get away with it…unfortunately I can’t!
These kind of scenarios never apply to me.
Tara Kuczykowski
Arianna, I’ve contacted Target corporate about this, and they said it’s up to the store manager whether or not to enforce a limit in a single transaction. My stores have always allowed multiples.
Even breaking your transactions up and using the Target and the manufacturer coupon will get your cereal for $0.66 which is a decent deal.
Jan
No luck for me on the cereal today at Target. The coupons I had for the cereal were all for kinds that were not included in the $2.66 sale and were not going to be any real deal even with the use of the Target coupons so I decided to pass for now. Also the Targets I go to have no problem when I use 5, 6 or more of the Target coupons. I am sorry to hear that not everyone gets the same treatment.
Victoria
Does anyone know what specific cereals are included in this deal?
Dawn
At our Targets in Michigan, the cereal is 2.99 but I was able to get 4 boxes for $3 so it’s still a good deal!
Tara Kuczykowski
I’m going to head to Target in a bit, so I’ll get a list of what’s included!
Heather
Is the buy 3, get 1 free just this week?
Tara Kuczykowski
Yes, it will run through Saturday the 7th, Heather.

I just got back from Super Target and paid 3.97 for four boxes of Kellogg’s qcereal and a Silk soymilk! The cereal did not come out free because the cheapest I could find was 2.99. And I had a coupon for a free Silk soymilk wyb two Kellogg’s cereals (only the ones listed on the coupon so I had to get those, which were 3.69 and 3.99, but we love soymilk so we got a great deal anyway! :)
Heartland Hannah
I did the cereal deal today with 2 Cornflakes & 2 Raisin Bran (my hubbies’ favorites). They were $2.66 each with the 4th free. The register specifically kicked out the 4th Target coupon with the error message you can’t use coupon on free item. However I did use 3 of the $1 Target coupons and two $1.50/2 MC, so I paid $1.98 for four boxes and that should keep him stocked for a couple months : )
Thanks for the tip on this one Tara!
Kim
Its interesting how different the stores and results are..
I was able to use 4 Target $1.00 Qs along with my Kelloggs Qs & got a great deal. I’ve never had any issues with using multiple Qs of the same type. Thank God! ;-)
I got 4 boxes of Kelloggs cerial & 1 Huggies #1 daipers for .82c. Course, I dont have any Target gift cards anymore but c’est la vie’ eh? ;-)
anne
cant wait to see which kinds of Kelloggs are actually part of this promotion – :) I don’t buy a lot of Kelloggs because of their HIGH sugar levels so I’m hoping for some healthy varieties are on sale:)
Low
I’m new to this, but if some people are using 30 (!!!) coupons at once – as stated by one person – for this deal , then where is the hope for a lot of us to even find the merchandise in stock!? Doesn’t seem very fair, not to mention nice, to be using that many. Why bother even posting about these deals then. Just wondering…
Tara Kuczykowski
Low, I can assure you that stores get in huge amounts of stock when they run a promotion like this. I was in charge of stock at the local Kellogg’s distribution center before I had kids.
However, 30 does seem a little excessive. I went last night and bought 8 boxes, which isn’t much considering we have a family of 7. I may stop in at the end of the week to get 8 more after the frenzy has died down.
