I was at Walgreens this morning, and they had Apples and Cinnamon glade 4 oz candles on clearance for 94 cents each!! I got 2 and used a coupon for $1.00 off 2 candles. French Vanilla ones were also on clearance for $1.84 each.
I wasn’t able to stack my Walgreens and Manufacters coupons though. I had one of each for $2.oo off infusium 23. The register wouldnt let the cashier scan both of them, and the Walgreens one does say that it is a Manufacters coupon to only be used a t Walgreens and not valid with any other offer, and since I would have gotten the shampoo anyway, I didnt question it.

Yeah, it’s the large candle holders that are on TPC now — I just couldn’t find a photo of them. Hope to check it out later!

My Q that was in the tin says “$1.50 off any Glad Scented Oil Candles Tin holder or refill pack”. I’m assuming this one will not work since it states “tin holder”. Did other people get a different Q when they purchased the tins?

Walgreens has the large soy candles and reed diffusers for $4.99 (MegaSaver) right now. Wal-Mart has the smaller soy candles (around 4 oz.) for $3. If you have the $3 blinkies or other coupons, this will make the deal sweeter.

I want to say that there is a Catalina promo going on right now at K-Mart for SC Johnson products. So if you are lucky to have one doing doubles this week, you could triple-dip!

PLEASE NOTE: The rebate form is not active until 10-1-09. It is not stated on the form and my friend called the company to find out. They are in the process of fixing the form. So make sure ALL your purchases for the rebate is AFTER today!

Just wanted to let everybody know Kmart currently has the tins and refills on sale for $2.49 each… if you still have the $1.50 off coupons that makes them free… I picked up a bunch for my mom who since I did the Target deal has become enthralled with DewBerry. I am going back tomorrow so that way I can get the SC rebate deal.

What do the coupons in the tin look like and where are they in the tin? I bought some at Target a few weeks ago, none of them have coupons as far as I can tell.

Tonya, they are a fold up & they say 1.50 off any glade scented candle holder or refill. They should be right on top when you open the tin.

Tonya–The ones I bought last week at Walgreens had the coupons loose inside between the lid and the candle. I started shaking the tins and you can hear the coupon rattle around inside and this saved me from opening up tins that didn’t have a coupon. Good luck!

I’ve noticed alot of people have taken the coupons out of the tins and just not bought the tins… at my Target the girl went through and opened each and every one I bought, if there wasn’t a coupon inside she told me the store manager had decided then you couldn’t use a coupon on it…. it was just getting annoying for them to go clean up the area and I guess people where screwing with the plastic inside and not putting the tops back on at all…. I dont know why they came up with it like this… but just to let you know lots of the ones at my Targets are empty.

Unlike CVS, Target will charge you tax base on the first price it’s rang up (at least the ones in Las Vegas). I used 2 of the buy holder get refill free coupons, and $2 off 2 scented oil product coupon, it should be $1 after all the coupons but the tax was charged base on original rang up price $9 ($1.5 for the holder and $3 for the refill).

I bought 3 of the glass holders a few days ago but will definitely be going back for more now that I can get the $5 rebate! I purchased one and used the $2 off 2 coupon in that toward the other 2 and now I will use coupons as I go paying .50 for each holder. I do have a coupon left from the scented oil tins, but they do read “$1.50 off any Glade Scented Oil Candles TIN holder or refill pack so I don’t think that they will able to be used… I can always try, I suppose!

I’m confused – what do the Glade Fragrance Collection large candle holders look like? Are they in the square box with the glass candle holder and a couple of candles inside?
I was at Target today and the only Glade products I saw on sale were the “new” diffusers and soy candles. Must have missed the goodies…..ahhhhh. SO bummed the rebate form starts tomorrow. I have several receipts from Target/Wags from the last couple weeks I could have used:(. THANKS for such a great site!!!!!

Jennifer, Jan, and Dizzy Mommy, thanks! I looked through all the tins they had (not many), and there were no coupons. I wondered how I missed them in that little tin! lol

Last time I used my coupons at Target I ran into alot of trouble…was even accused of “getting over on the system” by the cashier. The cashier and the manager both refused to take a coupon for $ off 4 WW entrees that I combined with the Free Dessert WW when you buy 4 entrees. Was I in the wrong for combining the two? I ask because I’m wary of combining the $1.50 off candle q with the Free Refill q.

i used my $1.50 off coupons from the tins & they say $1.50 on any glade scented oil candles holder or refill pack & that is a glade scented oil cande holder so there shouldn’t be any problem using them. i used mine at target & walgreens with no problem.

I went to Target today, and the only Glade thing that was on sale is the glass candle holder, for $1.99. no candle with it. They did have lots of things on clearance though, and the cashier and the lady behind me were asking me about how to get all the Target coupons that i had. :)

Found 3 Glade glass candle holders (no candle) , for $1.50/each at Target. Used $2 cpns for each of the glass candle holders (from xmas last year) so I made $.50 on each + I will send in for the $5 SC Johnson rebate – for purchasing 3 SCJ products – YAY!!!!!

There was a new scent display at my Kmart, the candles were mostly gone – but I found some of the folded up coupons on the floor! I guess people smelled the candle, liked it, and bought it without realizing they dropped the coupon. Maybe if some are missing coupons, check on the floor!

I bought a few of the tins today and used the coupon for the free refill wyb a holder.I found several tins without coupons because people were just taking the coupons and leaving the tins. You shoud be using the coupon inside for your actual purchase and not just take them.
