sandra,
when you scan one of the holiday Glade items, it should say on the price scanner machine that there is a gift card offer, but other than that, i don’t know how you’d prove the details of the promo.

Sandra, it was on the back of the ad (top right corner) that came out Sunday 11/08/09. Hope this helps… I have found that the Target here in Fort Smith, AR takes the coupons out of the tins so that customers can’t use them. They also remove them from items in the grocery section, specifically the lunch meat.

Some of the Glade products do not come with the coupons inside. I watched them pull some of the items out of a box to put on the shelf and there were no Qs inside. I will say that more times than not someone has taken the Qs out and not put the lids back on :(

Lisa,
I didn’t find any Q’s in any of my stores either. They may not be giving them any longer from the manufacturer.
It makes me mad when someone either doesnt’ replace lids or destroys packaging to save $ that doesn’t do any good.
Lisa
I know that some products still have the Q inside, not all of them though. I went to WM and they have them (a big display of the new holiday smells) – with the Q inside. And Home Depot has the holiday ones and they have the Q inside too.
At Target – it is just some people taking them out and then leaving a mess :( Just so they get the deal.

I know it has been a while since this post was made but I am making a comment anyway. I did this deal before but about a week ago I went to do the deal again and they would not let me use the $1.50 Q with the BOGO coupon. Her reasoning was that you would be using 2 coupons on 1 item. I said that the bogo applies to the refill, not the tin. She said that the Bogo coupon states you have to buy the tin to get the refill free. I said that I am buying it and I am paying for it partially with a coupon. She said that I wouldn’t be buying it if I was paying for it with a coupon and that it would be using 2 coupons on 1 item and the Target coupon policy states that you can only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item. (I know that it says that and I agree with it. I just don’t agree with her interpretation of using BOGO’s and $ off Q’s in this situation.) I said then why have I been able to do this exact same deal a week or 2 ago. Her reply didn’t surprise me. She said the cashier can push a coupon through and that I wasn’t supposed to be able to do it and I got one heck of a deal out of Target and they know that this has been going on and they are trying to crack down on it. I left mad, frustrated, empty handed, and feeling like a criminal. I would have asked for a supervisor but she is the supervisor. I really don’t like dealing with people who think they are educated and know the rules but they don’t really know the rules or are interpreting it incorrectly!

Nikki,
Thanks for sharing your story, it sounds like a very bad ordeal.
I’m sorry you had to endure such embarrassment at the hands of a Target employee, I’ve run into the “coupon police” before. they are just miserable people who seem like they want to penalize us for being thrifty and smart. I say if the computer takes it, who are they to argue! Where’s the Christmas Spirit? and what kind of comment was that “cracking down?” on us? what are we shoplifters? I hope you got her name and reported her to someone much higher up on food chain.
