Update: Target has added wording to the coupon that excludes one-time use cameras. This wording was not included when I originally posted this.

    I ALMOST HAD IT…
I went to target, got 2 cameras and gave the cashier my coupons…The cashier actually said to another employee, the coupon works, but I don’t know if I can take off the $5 or if I need to make it 3.85 so then she told us she needed to call a manager, then the manager came out, and said it had to be digital, I told her it doesn’t say that on the coupon, AND THEN SHE SAYS THE COUPON WON’T WORK, IT SAYS ITEM NOT FOUND…..INTERESTING….VERY INTERESTING!

Was out shopping across town and scored! I got 38 sets of batteries (bought coupons from clipping site awhile ago and my closest store hasnt had batteries in forever and are very coupon mean-was afraid they were gonna expire), 2 cameras, used some steaz b1g1 coupons, bliss chocolate b1g1 and my olay coupon stash. I got 100.00 worth of stuff for 17.56 and 4.76 of that was tax so i am thrilled beyond belief- also scored at walgreens and got cheap pregnancy tests at walmart- was a wonderful day-didnt have to fight with anyone.

Coupon worked for me. I bought two and used two coupons. It did beep each time, and I told the cashier that I bought the two disposable cameras – since it said “Item not Found.” He then pushed a button to accept it, and it took $5 off twice. Yay! These cameras are perfect to keep in your car to immediately document the scene/damage if you’re ever involved in an accident. It’s better quality than any photo my cell phone takes.

went yesterday, the lady at the register wouldn’t let me use the coupons and said the product had to mention the picture. I asked again b/c the print only states kodak camera, she said that they didn’t go by the print only the picture. I then went to cust. service b/c the cashier forgot to take them off my bill after she wouldn’t let the coupon go through. The teenage girl there said they only go by the pic as well, and when i questioned her about their coupon policy (i didn’t have it with me just wanted to make a point) she said they didn’t have one, uh yes you do and so i told her and asked her to produce it. I had 2 very young children with me and was feeling unusually snarky after a difficult shopping trip. I then called corporate customer service and complained, and questioned their coupon policy. He said they ABSOLUTELY go by the description, and that they would be in touch with my local store about informing their employees. I mean come on johnsons and johnsons cant put every bath product on every coupon that’s why there are descriptions. ugh.

I went to target yesterday and left very frustrated. First of all, after the teenage girl scanned all my items and put them in a bag, she started to scan all my coupons, but kept asking me, “Oh, did you get St. Ives, did you get Johnson’s did you get this?” I said yes and had to pull it out of my bags in the cart to show her. ( Well DUH I got it thats why I gave you the coupons. Shouldn’t she know that since she was the one scanning them?) Finally she rejected my camera coupon and I told her it says any Kodak camera. A manager got involved and I argued because it says any kodak camera. Manager said it specifically had to be the one in the picture. When has it ever been that way? Anyway I just gave up and gave the cameras back b/c there was a huge line behind us. I am definitely going to try again though!

This deal worked for me, but I had an older lady that just pushed them through. And she might have pushed it through a third time. I’m not sure. Sometimes the reciepts can be hard to read when you have coupons. It’s funny that a lot of people have problems with Target. My sister has only tried a few times with the Target Coupons and has had a horrible experience each time. Me on the other had, I had a cashier once who pushed through a 20% off coupon for a Razor Scooter for the one I wanted and not the one it was suppose to be for even though I was willing to buy the one I knew it would work for, but I didn’t want Barbie one. I love my target!

I just noticed the coupon says on it now “not for one time use cameras”. That is new, huh?

Used the coupons for the disposal cameras. Didn’t have any problems but the cashier did need to override to give me the discounts.

when I print out the coupon it states “excludes one time use cameras” don’t know if they added that and that would be why it wouldn’t work on the disposable ones.

Mine also says “Excludes One Time Use Cameras”. I’m troubled reading some of these posts – seems like some are deliberately trying to find cashiers who don’t know any better (or don’t care) and are then knowingly using the Q in a manner they know they shouldn’t (or think they shouldn’t). How is that any different from stealing? That kind of behavior is also why many stores do not accept internet Qs. Not sure if the earlier Qs had the same note that mine did, but many of the posts make it seem like some Q users are intentionally trying to get something past the cashier.

KG, the original coupon did not have the “excludes one time use cameras” wording on it. I do not advocate dishonest couponing on my site, so thank you for letting me know that they updated the coupon.

KG, the earlier coupons didn’t have any such wording on them.
After people started using them on one time use cameras (because the original coupons were valid on any type of Kodak camera), target pulled the coupons, and issued new ones, which specifically denied using the coupons on one time use cameras. I don’t think people were being dishonest, I think the coupon department made a mistake, corrected it, and then you may have walked in to the conversation at a moment that could lead to some inaccurate conclusions.
