In NJ Target’s price on Electrasol tabs is $5.99. Acme however has them for $3.99, so with the $2.50 coupon it is a great deal!

I found a target coupon for sierra mist 2-liter b2g1, and I had a manufacturer’s coupon for b1g1 so it worked out to be 3 for the price of one!

Target has the same trial-size Axe body wash as Walmart for $.97 – with the $1.00 off coupon from 4/5 paper – it is FREE with overage.

I have played around wiht that site several times and I haven’t ever seen a single coupon. Can someone tell me where I can go to be brought up to speed?

Is it me or do Target detest couponers. I went yesterday to buy specific coupon deals and they called over a manager to double check all my coupons and argue them with me. The nabisco coupon they said that it should be only teddy grahams as that is what is in the picture. Same with the kraft easy mac- ‘that should be the 4 pack’ and they wouldn’t let me use the coupon for the fruit snacks with the 89cent bag as they said that they would be losing money. Either way – a massive line built up behind me and I felt like the most hated woman on the planet. Is this a normal shopping experience in target?

Regarding the Dry Idea..In case CVS is closer to Target for some of you… I just found it on clearance for $2.25 at CVS, so 2 for 50 Cents may be worth it to you if you have to drive very far to Target

Just wanted to let you know that Cherry Dr. Pepper is included in the coupon and select boxes have $1 off coupons inside. We bought 1 pack for 2.50 (12pks are 3.50 here) and then next time I went back, I got the pack for 1.50 with the Target and manu Q — just keep rolling it to get Cherry Dr. Pepper for $1.50!!!

Sarah, not all Targets are like that, and I often think it has more to do with the cashier than the store. I’ve only had one negative coupon at Target; however, it was a pretty major one and management was part of the issue. I’m lucky to live in an area with numerous stores, so I simply avoid that store at all costs now, but you did nothing wrong. So if that’s your only store, just try a different cashier next time and hopefully things will go more smoothly.

On the Target Dr. Pepper deal…

There’s also a coupon for $1 off in the April 2009 People magazine. There’s a $1 coupon for People magazine in the latest All You too.

Sarah, It all depends on if the cashier and even head cashier knows Target’s coupon policy. You can google Target Coupon Policy and print it out or email Target and get a personalized email directly from Target. I did and they emailed me back within 24 hours. Go to their site and click on Contact Us/Target Stores/Online Form. I keep it in my purse for those times. When they do question it, you can still get a line of angry customers, but you will get your deal. It’s too bad we have to deal with this. I say find a cashier or two that understands the policy and stick with them. Stick in there!

Oh, I forgot to say that when you go to the online form, fill it out and ask them what their coupon policy is as far as using a Target coupon and a manufacturers coupon on one item and what if your coupons are more than the item. Also if they take internet coupons.

quick question. If I have, lets say, 3 identical coupons, and I grab 3 of whatever the coupon is for, can I use all 3 coupons?

For manufacturer’s coupons you absolutely can. Target recently changed the wording on their store coupons to one like coupon per transaction. Most stores will still let you more than one, but just be aware that you may have a cashier that’s a stickler for the wording.

My target did not have Electrosol or Dry Idea on sale.

I did snag pop tarts for $2.00 a box and got an 8 count free.

Had ALL small and mighty in trial size and snagged 3 for 6 cents. Grabbed two Dove and 1 Right Guard with .3 cents overage each. Also got my glade candles and FREE $5.00 GC so I made money on that!

My Target had Dove Go Fresh deodorant (full-sized) boxed together with Go Fresh body mist on sale for $2.99. I was able to stack the $1 Target coupon (for Dove Go Fresh) with the $1.25 off any deodorant/body mist manufacturer coupon. I paid only $.74 and was pretty excited!

Target in Grand Junction, CO doesn’t have any of these deals this week. Last week they had Electrasol on sale but as soon as the coupons came out, that sale went away. Also, had BIG confrontation with our local Target on coupons for trial sizes. I had to call their District and Corporate offices. I prevailed. Don’t let them tell you that they won’t allow coupons on trial sizes. Their corporate policy says that they do. Also, their policy DOES NOT ALLOW OVERAGES so don’t be surprised if they adjust the face value of your coupons to the actual price of the items. If they’re allowing overages at your Target, you’re the exception not the rule. This comes directly from their corporate offices.

Deanna, I would use (and did use) the “$1 off 7.5 oz or larger Nabisco snack” for those particular bags of mini Oreos, Teddy Grahams, etc. It’s on the same page with the rest of the Target printables. $0.52 is an awesome deal!

Electrasol was $4.39 at my Target. Although the $3.00 price was a while ago I remember…even though it’s still cheap I was looking forward to it being $.50 ea!

One of my local Targets will NOT allow both a manufacturer and Target coupon…..their system takes one coupon and the cashier takes two off your hands. I tried arguing and lost. Another Target the price rings up and then when a coupon is used…..it reflects a price on the receipt so say the product is $1.83, it originally rings up 1.83, but if you use a coupon for $1.00 it will show the price as 83 cents. It knows what coupons were used for what. I dislike target & coupons!
