My stores will not accept a coupon for a product that is less than the coupon amount! (Ex: today, something went on sale for $1.20 and I had a coupon for $1.50 off and was denied use of coupon)

It can also help to buy another item (that you needed anyway) at the same time. My Walmart will let me use a coupon for more than the value of an item only if my total stays above zero.

I totally used these coupons at Walmart today (cause Target is out of my way) and got the degree deodorant, axe deodorant and sauve hairspray. I’m new to this and didn’t realize you could also use them at Walmart, so yay!

I have used coupons like this at Target and WalMart…They have to adjust the amount of the coupon to 97 cents at the register. If you have issues, go to the customer service department. It is in the Target Coupon Policy on the internet. (I printed a copy of it and bring it with me to show the associates especially when I have a Target and Manufacturer coupon and end up with free items.)
    I like FREE stuff!

Is there a certain zipcode for the Act II? I don’t see it listed.

So tired of hearing these stores playing games with your Q’s.
Both WM and Target can adjust to the amount of the item-this isn’t brain surgery.
But you DO have to stand your ground and challenge these untrained cashiers-else they get the upper hand with you.
At WM, I simply remind them you’ll need to enter that Q manually, please don’t try to scan it.
At T-no issues-I get overage every visit!!!

I’ve talked to the CSM at both of my WalMarts AND my CVS and they have each told me that they cannot adjust the coupons and that if the coupon is for more than the price of the item they will not accept it. I can’t find any company policy online to show them…suggestions.

Walmart’s policy does not specifically address this, but I’ve talked with them recently about adding language about it and training their cashiers on it. Targets policy does make mention of adjusting the coupons down to the price of the item and can be found here:

Just wanted to give a heads up some of the Axe body sprays are $1.97. One store I went to it was $.97 the other was $1.97. So it can vary as each store was less then 20 miles a part.
