I tried to get free whitestrips at Target last night and they wouldn’t take my coupon because it would make the total fall below zero….guess I needed to buy something else??? I’m thinking of trying it again this evening and finding something else to purchase along with it. See if it works that way.

They wouldn’t take my coupon either. Said the coupon was not meant for trial size. I tried to argue the point, but to no avail. Also, said one coupon per purchase. I tried to say that means you can’t use more than one coupon per item, again…no deal. Also, I didn’t get the $5 gift card either. May return the Scrubbing Bubbles.

I didn’t try to do the whitestrips deal because my $5 coupon said good on 14 count package of whitestrips.

My coupon also says good on a 14 count package, even though it doesn’t specifically say “not valid on trial sizes” it does state the quantity it is good for.

Are you looking at the coupon from the 6/7 insert? I’m looking at both the 6/7 insert and the 7/5 insert right now. The one from 6/7 does not have any limitations on size; however, the 7/5 coupon does have the 14-ct. limitation.

Is the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner a regional coupon? If so does anyone have any that they would like to sell or trade?

I have a $10 off Crest Advanced Seal whitestrips (regular size box)… anyone know where I can get these for free or almost free? I think they’re about $35 at most retailers, if I remember correctly. It’s a long shot, but worth a try!

I saw a Fusion razor on an endcap at Target for $5, but you could save $4 if you bought a 2 pack of shaving gel or some other stuff. Did anyone else see this and have any ideas of how to maximize this for the best deal?

I was able to use a $10 and a $5 coupon to buy 3 boxes. I’m having trouble using the $7 coupon inside the trial size boxes. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi – not sure if anyone can assist, but I do have the coupon for target, but, am not able to print out the bubbles coupon (my only printer is at work), and I can’t DL the program to get the coupon.
Is there anyway someone can send it to me? It that possible?

I don’t think it’s going to work out here. I went to the Target over by Easton and had my daughter in one line with a box of Whitestrips, a pack of filler paper for 50c ents, and the coupon. And then my son and I with the exact same things ino ur line. Neither of the cashiers would take it. One of them said she couldn’t take it because the coupon was for more than the item was worth and the other said she couldn’t take it because it wasn’t for trail size, I pointed out that the coupon didn’t exclude trial size but she said she still couldn’t take it. :( That’s 3 strikes now. I’m done trying. I mean, is it REALLY that important to me? LOL!

I went to Target tonight and they said that they did not have a deal with the Scrubbing Bubbles to get a $5 gift card. I did use my $7 off coupon so it was a good deal…but not $1.00. =(

I live in Lafayette, IN and I went to Target tonight. They did not have the $5 GC with the purchace of the shower cleaner. So it must be regional. Oh well, I will be patient and wait for another good deal to come along. I did get 3 boxes of PopTarts using 3 .$.75 Target coupons and 3 $.55 printables and only paid $.66. I was happy with that.

I’m trying to print the $7 coupon for the scrubbing bubbles, but it keeps telling the website is having “technical difficulties” and to try back later, but I’ve been getting this error all day…anyone else having problems?

My Target does accept coupons for more than the value of the item, the cashier has to manually override and go into some window that allows her to enter the value of the coupon. So if my item is only $.99 and my coupon is for $1.00 off, they enter it in as $.99 for me. What I don’t get is this –doesn’t Target get the full $1.00 back for the coupon when they turn it in?

I actually bought the scrubbing bubbles yesterday without knowing about the $5 GC (used the coupon though). I’m in So. Cal and they didn’t have the GC deal here :(

I went to target to get the whitestrips and the scrubbing bubbles. They said that there is no $5 off gift card and the whitestrips deal wouldn’t work either because the box was for $4.97 and the coupon was for $5. They said that no Target would accept a coupon for more than the amount of the item. But I did use a $1/1 Johnson and Johnson first aid coupon for the travel size first aid boxes which were priced at .99 each. I don’t know why that would work and the whitestrips would not work. Anyway the poptart deal was great and I ended up getting everything for free because when I went over to return the scrubbing bubbles they put the full amount back on my card even though I had used a bogo coupon. Didn’t realize till later but glad they did because they were very rude about the amount of coupons that I had with my order. even so it turned out to be a good trip.

You have to use the Target coupon from this past Sundays paper to get the $5 gift card for the Scrubbing Bubbles. It wont happen automatically at the register like the razor deal last week. Maybe not every region got the coupon, I know Philly area got them.

All – the $5 GC deal for the scrubbing bubbles is in the newspaper, not an automatic store deal. I actually got 2 of these coupons because on Sunday I was in Los Angeles and got a paper there (had the $5 GC coupon) and got one from my local Houston paper. I went to my Houston Target to do the scrubbing bubbles deal, but its not on sale for $12.99 only the Windex Outdoor cleaner is (which there is a $5 GC coupon in paper as well) but no $7 off printable coupon! bummer…also looked in the Target ad I had from L.A.’s paper and only the Windex outdoor cleaner was on sale. I got the trial size whitestrips and had no problems with the coupons. The coupons I did have problems with were the Target 0.55 off but they finally took it, they had a hard time scanning. I would advise all to take a copy of target’s coupon policy with you to the store, several bloggers have posted this on their site. I always tell them they need to adjust the price down and they do it for me. Good luck! Hopefully the scrubbing bubbles will go on sale here soon!

Sorry, I didn’t realize the Scrubbing Bubbles GC required a coupon. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard of them doing that!

Allison, I think it’s pretty funny that they told you no Target would accept that coupon, because mine accepted it just fine earlier today and I used quite a number of coupons on that order.

I didn’t realize that you had to have a coupon to get the $5 gift card. I must not have gotten it. I get the charlottesville, va paper and the D.C. paper but it was not in either.

same here, went to target and use the $7 coupon on the $4.99 trail size crest, the cashier asked the manager on the floor if she could take the coupon for the trial size. She asked the price on the trail size and the cashier said the coupon exceeds the amount, and the manager said no. So I asked the cashier wouldn’t they adjust the price of the coupon to match the item, she said no. They don’t take any coupons that’s above the item price. But i don’t understand why they would adjust a $1 to become $0.99 (as mentioned above in someone else’s comment), if that $1 is more than $0.99. Did anyone contact target to see what’s the store policy? I might email them and see what they say. Will post once receive reply.
