Thanks!!
Does anyone know if the Chex mix coupon (for the .99 size) beeps?
My store is horrible if something beeps, so I need to be prepared!
Lexa
Thought I would share that I found packages of Hanes girls’ socks on clearance at Target yesterday (Monday 28 Sept) for $0.94 … and most* of the packages had a peelie for $0.50 off! These are the Hanes “no show” athletic socks that were $3.79-ish at back-to-school time. With the coupon, you end up with six (6) pairs of socks for 44-cents!
The sock sizes are as follows:
Small – Toddlers’ shoe sizes 6 – 10 1/2 (pink ‘Hanes’ on the socks)
Medium – Kids’ shoe sizes 10 1/2 – 4 (purple stitching)
Large – Women’s shoe sizes 4 – 10 (blue stitching)
*I had trouble finding size Large packages with coupons.
Note: These are NOT the 10-pack that are on sale for $5 this week.
Kimberly
Oh, cheap socks! That would be great!
Thanks for the great deals! Just a reminder to new coupon users – you can print off Target’s current coupons at their bridal registry kiosks. I love anything that will save me ink!!
Jennifer
Just wanted to let Kodiak know it is .29 cents if you use the target coupon & $1 off man. coupon for the jimmy dean bowls. do they consider the .99 cent chex mix “trial size”? my target is horrible if you try to buy trail size with a coupon…
Tara Kuczykowski
The Chex Mix coupon actually states that it’s good on the 3.75-oz. size and up, so even if it beeps, you shouldn’t have a problem getting them to accept it.
Heather Rose
Can someone help me. I know there is no limit on how many Target q’s you can print, but it there a “norm” of how many they accept? I saw people getting tons of those cheese sticks at a time, but how many is “too many” Chex mix?
Jennifer Laxson
I didn’t know you could print Target coupons in the store??? How???
couponmom1983
The Chex does not beep! I just went in to my store, and had a wonderful experience. I called ahead to verify the policy, so I wouldn’t be embarassed.. I walked out of Target with $45 and some change of stuff and paid a mere $5! I am sooooo excited! Thanks DealSeekingMom! I have learned so much from this site and I look forward to finding many more deals!
couponmom1983
About the Chex mix again, I got 5 bags total, using 5 of the same coupon, and it did not beep, it was accepted! Just FYI!

The chex coupons should cause the register to beep, but only because the coupon is for $1.00 off and the 3.75 ounce size is only $.99. I bought 12 of them today (that was all they had) and when I paid, the register beeped. When this happens, it alerts management in the back that coupons are being rung up improperly. So the manager came out and I told her that the coupon stated that it was for the size I bought. She agreed, and was super kind and apologized to me for the hold up. She also told me that most Targets are not equipped to change the value of a coupon when it exceeds the price of the item, but that may change due to “deals” such as this.
Regardless, they have to honor the coupon – even if the register beeps. I plan on going back when they get more in and buying as many as they have. The 3.75 oz bags have enough in them to feed my 4 kids an afterschool snack.
Denise
Where is the $1 off coupon>? I can’t find it. I only see the .40 off and .60 off on the link.
Denise
Never mind! Found it :)

I scanned the large Chex Mix, and it showed up as $1.99, but at the register when the Target coupon was scanned, it showed up as .99, and the coupon showed as 0.00 so it seems they fixed the problem to avoid the register beeping. I was also THRILLED to see the new coupon policy on EVERY register. It was great, and I only bought three stacked items, but had no problems!
Kayla
Hi,
I don’t understand how some of you are able to use so many coupons on the Chex Mix or other items at Target….The coupon clearly states one per transaction. My Target enforces this.
I’m sure if I wanted to take the time and tie up the line and get the clerk and manager angry I could get a few more but I don’t think that’s the right thing to do. I love using coupons and saving money but for those who abuse the system shame on you!!
I mean do you really think it’s right to go in and get 20 of an item for free………..these are the people that makes it tough on the ones that follow the rules!
laura
girls, went to my target today. got the 8.75oz bag of chex mix for free!!! the price was $1.34 and used the target coupon also .50 off one. was able to get 6 and no beeps !!!!!!! just love a sweet deal!!!!
karen
Kayla,
One per transaction is one per item in a transaction. Target’s coupon policy clearly states that you can use one Target and one manufacturer’s coupon per item. Your Target may be trying to set it’s own rules. Getting 20 of an item for free by using a Target coupon when Target sets their own prices is not a crime. And that is by following the rules. Also, stores get reimbursed for each manufacturer coupon they receive so they’re not getting screwed either.
jaimelynne
Rebecca….Target can ABSOLUTELY change the value of a coupon (trust me, I’ve been through this many times). I’ve learned WAY too much as a customer. What they need to do when the register beeps…like “item not found” (at least this is the way it happens in PA) is to push the K4 button on the register (typically it will come up as 3 options…one is a manufacturer coupon). All they need to do is select the ManQ option and another screen comes up and asks the cashier to input the amount of the coupon. It doesn’t seem as though they are giving you grief about it, which is nice! I’ve actually talked cashiers through this process, which is ridiculous since it’s not my job, but hey. I get what I’m entitled to, and management doesn’t freak out.
Kimberly
Jennifer – when you go to the bridal kiosks (like you’re printing off a registry list) one of the options it gives you is “Go to target.com” – choose that option and scroll to the bottom, select “coupons”, and you can print them off just like you can at home!
Michelle
I agree with Kayla. It is very unfortunate that people buy 12 bags or as the other poster says..all they had. When I go in I buy maybe 3 at a time and always leave some for others to enjoy. Sure, you may be entitled to buy as many as you want but, really, can we not be so greedy and perhaps leave some for others. We could all use a break during these tough times.
Jennifer Laxson
Kimberly…Thank you…I’m trying that next time!
Kayla…I agree with you also! And people wonder why Walgreens has a 1 item per transaction if it’s something that earns a RR. I guess it’s not abusing the system, but come on.
christina
I agree with Kayla. I would buy maybe 2 or 3 bags but definetly not all they had and then come back with more coupons the next day or whenever they re-stock. I would probably feel really embarassed to do that too.
Andrea
Last time I went in, I bought the last 4 string cheeses they had…and they haven’t restocked. I have more than 4 kids, so I was hoping to get the rest of them a cheese. I’m wondering if they’re going to NOT restock until that coupon expires. Think Target learned their lessons on that one. It’s a good deal, but I’m sure they’ll do their homework before offering a blanket coupon like that one.
Also, there was no Chex Mix left in the cash register aisles. Don’t know if a ton of people wanted it or a few people stocked up. It would’ve been nice, but maybe next time. I’ve gotten some great deals, so I hope not to be too sad when I miss one and someone else gets it instead.
Denise
I agree with Kayla also. There is one Target in the city I live, and they don’t restock the items that have coupons. So, when someone buys 12 or 13 of something, no one else can get a deal. I was at Walgreens on Sunday, and the woman in front of was buying FIVE orders of all the free stuff with the stacked coupons, and made the cashier start over three times. I had coupons also, but that is just taking advantage, and the cashiers don’t want to deal with anyone who has coupons. Does anyone really need 18 Theraflu for one season? They’ll have them on sale again soon anyway.
Kayla
Hey ladies,
I’m so glad some of you agreed about disliking the practice of taking more and leaving none for others.
I went to my Target the other day and guess what?? No Chex Mix of course……lol…Also I couldn’t believe this ,but there was a woman going through the Glade oil tins and pulling out all the coupons! Now ladies in my book that is PITIFUL also I believe it’s called stealing since you are opening up the product and taking part of it out….What do yall think???
On a more positive note I saw on the Glade website you can design your own oil tin and enter to win prizes. Looks like fun!
Tara Kuczykowski
Oh, what a bummer! Yeah, I’d call that stealing too. It’s no different than the people that take inserts out of the paper too. :(
Samantha
After watching Tara’s Target video, I tried to print off a Target coupon at the kiosk in store because I had accidentally forgotten to print it at home. I couldn’t figure out how to do it, either. Are the instructions that Kimberly gave in comment #20 accurate for any Target kiosk? I think mine had the options of Bridal Registery, Baby Reigistery or Create a List. I went into create a list thinking it might give me an option to print coupons and it didn’t.
If anyone has any tips, I would appreciate it! I am usually prepared, but sometimes ( like on the Chex Mix) I might think I have printed some coupons out and I didn’t or I used them last week, etc.
I, too try not to be greedy. I usually don’t do more than 4 transactions at any store and that is only if I am not holding up a line by doing so. I usually check out in cosmetics at WAGS, etc.
I thought my Target was sold out of the Chex Mix, but there is a light blue package of the Traditional mix that looks different so be sure to look for those.
Lastly, the Skippy PB is 2.04 at my store. =( Actually one of the shelf tags says 1.99 but it scans at 2.04!

Hi,
I have been all over this site and can’t find the link to buy the Hormel Compleats. I only get a magazine or website to join. One charges $13 dollars and change and the other charges $11+. I’m not paying that for a Hormel dinner…this is silly!
Heather Rose
Blondie…The Hormel coupon is in the All You magazine. They are sold at Walmart for around $2.50. The link you are clicking on is to order the magazine subscription. But you can go to WM and buy the mag and then take the coupon to Target.
