Another great deal can be found today and tomorrow at Target as well for those who dont mind price matching. Toy R Us is having a two day sale, and as part of their sale they have 5 Wii games advertised for $9.99 each. They also have 5 DS games advertised at $9.99 each. If you use Target’s Wii/DS coupon (Buy 2 get $10 off) you can get the games for just $5.00 each!

Sorry there’s only 4 Wii games and 4 DS games on sale at Toy R Us, but if you price match the games at Target as I mentioned aboove and use the coupon, that makes the games only $5.00 each.

moki, Target changed their coupon policy after the dreaded “alphabet” pal fiasco of last week – you are no longer able to price match to doorbusters, special sales that start at certain times or “X day only” sales.

However, some people have had success using competitor coupons at Toys R Us, so check and see if you can use the Target q’s.

Also, a comment about Target! I LOVE TARGET but I was disappointed to find out (while at Target) – you can’t use the registry computers to print “Target coupons” any more. The message says – ” no longer accesible”! Bummer – especially if your home computer has run out of ink! So, in Garner, NC – you can’t print the Target coupons at the stores any more! And, I tried all computers – a couple of times each! :(

    Hi Anon,

I’m located in Northen California, and the Target’s here don’t seem to have a problem with matching to doorbusters, or special sales. I bought a Moxie girl doll last night at Target and spent $9.99. Today it was on sale at Toys R Us for $7.99, so I took the Toys R Us ad into Target and they price matched it for me no problem. I’m wondering if maybe the stores in Northen California are different?

    Dorren,

You can still get the coupon. You can print it out off of Hot Coupon World, or go to the toy section of your Target where there should be some toy coupon books, (at least there where in my Target store,) the coupon is located in the book. From the sounds of it though Target’s policies are varying by region, so you might want to check with your store to see if they will do a price match for you.

Ahhh…I think I see what happened Anon, Target’s policy states, “Timed events (e.g., early bird, door busters)
Items advertised as limited time/limited supply/limited quantity…”Not everything in the Toys R Us ad is actually a door buster if I am understanding this correctly…(still new at the whole coupon thing…) anyway, the first page of the Toys R Us ad appears to contain all the door busters/early bird specials. If you look at the items on the first page of the ad they all say “Fri. late*Sat. early,” the rest of the ad just appears to be part of a regular sale. There doesn’t appear to be a time limit on the Moxie dolls nor the Wii or DS games, other than the 2 day sale time limit. All sales ads have some time limits on them, i.e., they run for a week, so since the actual item itself did not state something along the lines of “3pm-midnight,” my Target was willing to match the price because it didn’t violate their policy?

The $1 off 8 MQ is also good on Del Monte vegetables which are on sale for .45 this week.
So you could get a combination of vegetables & fruit.
I wish I would’ve known about the $1 off 4 TQ when I got the following:
    12 vegetables .45 ea
    4 fruits .97 ea
    Use (2) $1 off 8 MQ’s, 2 $1 0ff 6 veggie TQ’s & 1 $1 off 4 TQ’s
    For a total of $6.28
