Hi Tara thanks for all your great work. It has really helped us save money while shopping. I did the Mr. clean deal at Target. I had a .75 coupon off the Mr. clean multicare cleaner and a coupon to get the mr. clean spray free with the multicare cleaner but they said they could only take one of the coupons. Is this right? I thought that since it was a coupon for each item they should have accepted both coupons.

Bianca – I don’t know if the Target Pampers coupons were regional. We got them in Florida. However, it is for the sensitive swaddlers and the premium absorbency cruisers. I was really hoping to cash in on this deal, but my Target only has the premium absorbency cruisers in the box, not the jumbo size.

The Target Pampers Q I got was $2 off the purchase of both diapers and wipes. Makes it less of a deal, IMO, since I can get wipes for way cheaper somewhere else.

My Target would not allow me use two coupons for the Gillette Fusion Razors because the coupon states “Limit One Coupon Per Purchase”. Most coupons say this and I’ve never had a problem.

    Julie,

Shoot off a few emails to different manufacturers inquiring what is meant by the “one coupon per purchase” statement on their coupons. I did this, asking if this meant I could not use say 5 coupons to buy 5 of the same product, and got responses back from General Mills, Procter and Gamble and Nabisco all stating what it really means, you can only use one coupon per item you are purchasing. I printed these off and carry them with me in my purse in anticipation for the next show down! Good luck.

Im a little confused and is hoping someone can help me clear this up. Can we use 2 coupons on one item? A manufacturers coupon and a target coupon?
And what about the bottom of the target coupons that say limit one coupon item or offer per coupon?
    Thanks Amy

    Angie,
This is what I received from Gillette today:

    “Thanks for contacting Fusion.
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty redeeming your Gillette Fusion coupons. We appreciate your bringing this to our attention, and I’m sharing your report with our Promotions Team.
“One per purchase” means consumers can redeem one coupon for every product they purchase according to the coupon description. According to our coupon policy, multiple coupons can be used on one shopping trip as long as the equal number of products are purchased.
While we reimburse stores for the full face value of the coupons they redeem (plus the normal retailer’s handling fee), we can’t force them to accept our coupons. Sometimes stores develop their own policies regarding coupon redemption; or they aren’t familiar with our coupon redemption rules. If that’s the case, you might want to encourage the store manager to contact our coupon redemption center directly.
I hope this helps. Thanks again for stopping by.
    Terri
    Fusion Team”

I’ve printed it off and putting it in my purse for next time!

    Julie,

I hope that works. I pulled my letters out at Walmart recently and they still refused to let me have more than one item I had coupons for. Their response was that it was Walmart’s policy to only allow only one coupon per product purchased (although I never have an issue buying multiple items if I am willing to pay full price). Even though they pointed to that “one coupon per purchase” statement when they first objected, they simply did not care what the manufacturers intended by putting that on there. Guess I have given up on Walmart unless anyone else has any other suggestions. Angie
