Stretch Those Dole Chiquita Bites Coupons

July 13, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 20 Comments

chiquita-pineapple-bites-couponsThe FREE Dole Chiquita Bites printables are still available, and reader Meg found a great way to stretch these a little further.

I wanted to let you know that my local Kroger in Central Illinois had a good deal to match up with the Free Chiquita Bites coupon. Some packages of the pineapple bites had peelies that said “try me free” when you buy another Chiquita bites product. Soooo I used 3 free coupon printables and used 3 peelie coupons, and ended up with 6 free packages of Chiquita Bites. Can’t beat that!

That’s a pretty sweet deal if you can find packages with the peelies at your local store! It may not be limited to just Kroger, so please share if you find them elsewhere.

My local Dillon’s had the four-pack apple bites marked down to $1.99. They let me use my coupons. That made four packs with their little caramel dipping sauce 25 cents each.

It’s not free, but it IS a really great deal if your grocery will pair a markdown with a coupon. The snacks didn’t last long, either. The kids had three packages eaten by the end of the day. Way better than junk food!

Julie, if you’ve already printed the coupon in the past, it won’t work again. But I tested it from an old laptop that I never use, and it is still available for people who didn’t print it when I posted it the first time.

    Thanks for the Walmart tip!

I’m still looking for a place that carries these items or maybe I’m just not looking in the right section…I’ll keep searching!

Thanks for always sharing awesome deals!

Rei – I found them at Jewel. They are in the produce section where the cold juices are. They are also next to the pre-chopped fruit/fruit salads.

Yeah, I found pineapple peelies at Wal-mart too.
Christina, they should be in the same cooler with the bagged lettuce and pre-packaged fruit trays.

My Kroger no longer accepts printed coupons that result in a free item :( . . . even if it is a BOGO!

I went to Schnuck’s today and used this deal. I was also told they no longer accept printed coupons either but they would make the exception for me today only.

I went to Kroger by my office (newer large store) on my lunch break, and couldn’t find them. I did see the 4-pk apples w/caramel dip, but they were $2.99. I thought 50 cents each was not a deal. I would love to find the singles so I can get them free!

Nancy – I’ve found these on the refrigerated shelf in the produce section near the bagged lettuce and baby cut carrots, near the refrigerated salad dressings and pre-cut fruit. Hope that helps!

At the Weiss Market in Binghamton, NY they have the bags of apple bites with caramel 10 for $10.00 which we think is great! My husband and I both really like them. They also have apples with grapes.
