My cashier told me that she couldn’t accept them because they stated “not valid with any other offer” and that the sale was an ‘offer’. I didn’t feel like debating this at the time, so I just told her to take the items off. Just then the manager (who knows me because I’m there so much!) walked by and the girl grabbed her. After some questions on how many items I had, etc. to make sure I was using them legitimately/appropriately she said “yes. She can absolutely use them!”

Kim- you should definitely have been able to use them.

FYI, i was able to use the Bic Pen coupon. My printer dinged me and I only had one printout. But still, a free pen. I forgot about the moneymaker with the photo paper! darn. I got 2 packs of copy paper, 2 sets each of pencils, bic pens, scissors and erasers, 2 of the magic tape (kicking myself for not bringing my coupons!) 2 staplers, 1 sharpie, 1 set of glue sticks @1.99 (to reach $20) — used the 5/20 and $1 Bic Q for a grand total of 15.89 (tax is 9.25% in CA). And I’ll be getting 7.xx back! Not too shabby I think.
    Thanks for the great deal!

The copy paper at my store rang up $2.97 a pack and the rebate amount shows $3.68. Surely, that’s not right…but if it is I made money on my transaction today!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
