Select Safeway, Randalls, Tom Thumb: $0.99 Milk Coupon

September 6, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 3 Comments

Milk Coupons
Select Safeway, Randalls, and Tom Thumb locations have a special 3-day ad in the Sunday paper that includes a coupon to get a $0.99 gallon of milk. The coupon is only valid through Tuesday, September 8th, and states that you must purchase $20 in groceries (before manufacturer coupons) to use it.

While the coupon really isn’t something to rave over, milk savings are always appreciated around here, and if you’re planning to shop these locations early this week, it pays to be aware of this deal!

Thanks, Saving With Shellie!

Do you have a corporate policy, in writing, stating that the $20 purchase is BEFORE coupons? I always thought that was true, but my local store is claiming that it has to be $20 AFTER coupons, and when I emailed corporate asking about it they said the store was right. So I’m wondering if you’ve been told something different?

(And I’m wondering who is right!) :)

Good question, Emily. These stores aren’t local to me, so I was relaying the information that Shellie has in her post, so she would probably be the person to ask.

I’m jealous! That’s a fantastic price for milk. Still over $3 here in the mid-Atlantic. :(

And re: the minimum purchase. The ad usually just says “with minimum $20 purchase,” and at our stores the regular price of whatever items you’re using the SuperCoupons on counts. For example, if one of the SuperCoupons makes cereal 4 for $6, you can count the pre-coupon price of the cereal towards $20.
