My favorite holiday dish is making homemade ravioli’s in my grandmother’s kitchen for every Christmas dinner. I have continued this celebration with my daughter and hope that when she gets older, she too will continue.

Christmas Eve, traditional Italian 7 fishes – stuffed squid, baccala (salt cod salad), leek soup (with the salt cod in it), baked stuffed shrimp, pasta w/tuna (sounds yucky, but hv never had anyone NOT like it once they tried), swordfish, smelts etc. You can do any 7 kinds you like. Christmas Day – standing rib roast w/veggies. Ok, hv to go shopping for bigger pants now LOL

Wow! That is a great deal for a meal! I hope to win!
My family’s holiday meals wouldn’t be complete without Herbie Salad (named years ago for my dad’s uncle who always brought this.)
It is simply orange Jello with shredded carrots and crushed pineapple mixed in. Yum!

My kids request the same thing every special holiday: mashed potatoes, and my grandmother’s recipe for corn pudding — to go along with the ham and turkey. (Yum, I’m getting hungry)
Thanks for the opportunity.
