    On Christmas Eve, we have lots of appetizer types of foods and then usually have a traditional dinner for Christmas.

    We love Candied Yams in our house!! I make them at least once a week from Thanksgiving to New Years!! I use my grandma’s recipe.

    I look forward to sweet potato pie, pecan pie, chocolate pie, cherry cream cheese pie and chocolate chess pie. Of course I would not turn down cake or cookies either.

    Our family favorite is monkey bread. I still use a recipe that i learned in Junior High Home Economics. lol

    It’s a tie between mashed potatoes made with real cream and obscene amounts of garlic…. and green bean casserole. (I’m a midwestern girl, I have to love casserole.)
