I think the math is wrong on the tollhouse chocolate chips :) Also for those of you who have a Lucky Supermarket, the same ALL Laundry Detergent is on sale for $2.99 as well, however you don’t have to use a coupon like you do at Safeway and there is no limit! I stocked up!

Doesn’t Safeway double coupons? That’s the info that Shellie provided. It’s not a store that’s local to me.

Depending on where you are on the west coast, Safeway offers a coupon in their ad to double up to 50 cents on four coupons (the Portland area can do this).

There is also a e-coupon at Cellfire which makes the chocolate chips even sweeter. With the kelloggs you can use the $5/4 target coupon.

Safeway’s coupon doubling varies from area to area. Here, it doubles to $.50, some places will double to $1, and others to $.99. I wish they would choose ONE number (the highest, of course) and stick with it corporate wide – which would include the other stores in the chain.

I had a terrible experience trying to use the $5/4 coupon at Safeway today. (They wouldn’t take them.) I looked up their coupon policy when I got home (so I would know before contacting customer service) and their policy says that they don’t take coupons for more than 50% of the item value. Why not when they get reimbursed? I’m done with Safeway after today!
