June 3, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 10 Comments

Rite Aid

Rite Aid has released a new prescription transfer coupon that’s good through June 30th, 2009. Transfer up to two prescriptions and receive a $25 gift card for each!

Some CVS and Walgreens locations will accept competitor coupons, so there’s a possibility of using this elsewhere.

Other Rite Aid Coupons still available:

  • $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon (exp. 6/30/09)
  • $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon (exp. 6/30/09)

The thing that bothers me about the Rite Aid coupon is that it is ONLY for transfers. They won’t accept it with a new Rx. The Target coupon that they sometimes have is good with all Rxs. I love that one!!!

I tried using the Rx coupon today and neither Walgreens nor CVS would take it.

Chris, it will definitely vary by store as to whether CVS or Walgreens will accept a competitor’s coupon. I know some of my local stores will and some won’t.

Would be easier with a new Rx but I will transfer for $50.00. LOL

I have 2 prescriptions that I fill monthly. I alternate between Rite Aid and Walgreens each month and without fail I recieve several coupons from the opposing pharmacy that month. There are always “freebie” coupons, a $5 off of $25 purchase coupon, and a $25-$30 coupon begging me to bring the prescription back. The coupons note some terms stating that this is not reusable within a certain time span but I do this every month and have never been questioned.

Hi! I am new to this couponing thing and guess what – I really liked it! :) It feels like I am playing a game and I am always winning. I just transfered 2 of my prescriptions to Rite Aid and I got a bistro set for $3 (I just paid the tax. The bistro set is on sale for $49.99).

Just came back from Rite Aid. Did the the two perscriptions deal which put $50.00 into my pocket. Then purchased $50.00 in Unilever, Kimberly Clark deal which means I will be receving another $25.00 gift card. I used 20.80 in coupons and the remaing balance went on the original gift cards. Anyways, SCORE!
