Rite Aid Deals

Corrie from “Cents”able Momma is the Deal Seeking Mom Store Expert for Rite Aid. At “Cents”Able Momma, she helps others be “able” to save their “cents” by sharing great deals, coupons, freebies, money saving tips, and even a few methods to earn a little extra money.

There is a $5/$20 Rite Aid July Video Values coupon available to help you save on your Rite Aid purchases.  You can only use 1 of the VV coupons per month as they are now tied to your Wellness card.

Rite Aid has started releasing both a long and a short version of their ad. The prices sometimes differ. The deals below are from the long ad.  Visit +UP Reward 101 for more info on the new loyalty program.  You must use your Rite Aid Wellness card to qualify for the +UP Reward.

This week is the last week of the July SCR period, so make sure you make any necessary purchases this week and enter all your receipts.  The July Video Value coupons also change out on 7/25, so make sure you watch any videos for coupons you need before the end of this week.

Zuly – actually the Coupons.com coupon is valid on the 10 oz. bottle only, so it’s not going to work for this deal.

I believe that they have reached the print limit on the other BioTrue coupon, which is why you’re having problems printing it.

Some cashiers will allow you to use all 3 coupons (VV, in-ad, and manu), and there was actually an example of it in an ad about a month or so ago. However, some cashiers will not allow you to use all 3 So, it really depends on your store.

Can’t you also use the free eye shadow with covergirl mascara coupon so that will give you the 2 product for the rebate?

You can use that coupon to get the free shadow. But, you would still need to purchase 2 items to get the $5 SCR. It is only on these specific items – Lash Blast Fusion or Length Mascara, Liquiline Blast Eye Liner, Smoky Shadow Blast, Simply Ageless Primer, Concealer, Corrector or ShineBlast Lip Gloss.

what coupons are you using for motrin because if i use $3 in ad and $3 mc it goes over. I doubt they will also let me use the rite aid video along with them.

You’re right Zuly. RA will not allow overage when you use coupons. However, I would bring the coupons you have, since the price may be different depending on the region (since it’s not on sale…it’s regular price). If the coupon is slightly over the purchase price, you can ask the cashier to adjust the coupon down (some will do that). Plus, you will still get the $2 +UP Reward back regardless of what you pay OOP.

Check “My Rewards” just to make sure that you haven’t watched it already and it’s waiting to be printed. Otherwise, RA may have pulled the coupon from VV. Some coupons do not last all month due to print limits.

I was able to print it on Friday night (to check and make sure it would work).

I’ve 2 general questions about the wellness program:

    1. i received 2 +up rewards from previous purchases, can i use both in a single transaction (buying something else, total $ amount greater than the rewards)?

    2. my receipt shows that i have 142 points, where do i claim that “one-time 10% off pass”?

    thank you.

      Yvonne,

You should be able to use them both in one transaction (although I’ve heard stories of the cashier not allowing it).

Here’s what the Rite Aid website says about the 10% off shopping pass:

Passes delivered to members via email (or mail if no email address is provided). Members must present pass at check out to receive discount. When used with a sale priced item the customer will receive the lower of the discount price or sale price. Discount not valid on prescriptions, prescription co-pays, cigarettes, alcohol, gift cards, online purchases, lottery tickets, licenses, money orders, money transfers, prepaid cards, stamps, other mail services and items prohibited by law and may not be combined with any other offer. Offer void if member’s card already gives 10% or 20% off purchases when scanned.

Hello – I haven’t shopped at Rite-aid before b/c I was always totally confused by all the different programs, but I’m going to dive right in and see how it goes!! A couple of questions:

1st, for the pampers deal (I pasted it below), am I correct in saying that you can only buy ONE jumbo pack of say, cruisers diapers to get the $2 scr and $2 +up? So, if I bought a 2nd jumbo pack of say, easy ups, I would not get the $2 scr and $2 +up?

2nd, with regard to getting your SCR check, how long after the SCR monthly timeframe do you have to request your SCR? Is there some sort of expiration? I can see myself forgetting to request the check.

    THANKS!

      Cristina,

That’s a good deal to use to jump into Rite Aid :-).

      1) Yes. There’s a limit of 1 on both the SCR and the +UP Reward, so you would only get them for the first pack of diapers that you purchased.

      2) You have about a month after the SCR timeframe to request your SCR check. However, the system will request the check automatically for you if you forget to request it by the end of the timeframe. So, I usually enter my receipt as soon as I get home from making a purchase. That way all receipts are entered even if the system requests the check for me (if I forget).

I hope that helps! Good luck with your purchase, and please leave a comment with any additional questions.
