I had a horrid day with Rite Aid. There is a shift Manager who doesn’t know there own policy at all and has basically taken over since the store manager went on maternity leave. There is a new cashier at my Rite Aid… I actually like her. Anyhow, the manager came over and said that all $5/$25 purchase coupons had to be done last (never even heard that one), that I couldn’t use 2 coupons for a b1g1, and finally the one that upset me the most.. told this cashier I couldnt use an adperk and a man. coupon at once because it said man. on it. I told her I had contacted corporate and was told I could use them together… she told me that was wrong they must of thought I meant the coupons in the paper… I showed her all but one of those said man. and explained that as long as it said Rite Aid then it was a rite aid coupon. She was very nasty and annoyed that I was standing up to her. I felt bad for the new cashier because she was the one getting into the trouble. I’m annoyed and am not sure how to prove it to this manager that she is point blank wrong… I asked her to call customer service and she point blank refused.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Quilted Northern printable Rite Aid Video Values coupons ($5/2) worked on the “Soft & Strong” variety even though the coupon says “Ultra Plush.” (The other $1 mfg coupons are for the Soft & Strong.) My store was already out of the Ultra Plush so I was “sweating it” in the store but decided I’d try and see what happened. The register accepted all coupons on 4 12-packs (double rolls) of the Soft & Strong. With the $5/$20 purchase coupon plus the 6 other coupons, I was able to get 4 12-packs for just $5, and I’ll submit the RealSimple rebate to essentially get 4 packs for FREE – a fantastic deal!! Looks like we’re set on TP for quite a while. :)

Dizzy Mommy–call 1-800-RiteAid or call the store and ask for the District Manager’s name and number. they are supposed to give you that information.

My Diabetes tote came in the mail today… for anyone considering getting one here’s all waht was in it:

tote pictured on the website: this has nice long straps so you can put it over your sholder. Pretty sturdy, it’s of a heavier make than the re-useable bags you get just about anyhere. Outside is canvas, inside is vinyl, no special pockets or anything inside.

a sample of Halls Refresh drops (2 drops) and a coupon for 50cents off 1 bag Halls Refresh.

0.75 oz sample of Colgate Total Advanced Clean Plus Whitening

sample (2 tablets) Tylenol Arthritis Pain

    sample (2 tablets) Bayer

Coupon 55cents off 1 Vicativ product

    Coupon $1 off 1 nature’s bounty product

Overall, I paid about $1.80 for this (tax on the $29.99 before coupon glucose monitor).

I’d say hold on to the glucose monitor coupons until you can use them to get money rewards back from somewhere.
