Old Navy Coupons

It’s Thursday, and that means new coupons on OldNavyWeekly.com!

This week’s update from the M80 Newsroom is up. It doesn’t look like there will be any $75/$100 coupons, but $65/$100 is nothing to sneeze at! Plus, they’ve introduced another hot item of the week:

Maybe TGIT doesn’t have the same ring as TGIF, but we’ve got at least one reason for you to celebrate today – Thursday means that OldNavyWeekly.com is going to be hiding new amazing coupons, including deals like $65 off $100 and a new Item of the Week!

This time it’s Women’s Cable V-Neck and Argyle Sweaters for just $12 each! Both styles are super fabulous, and just in time for Fall – you don’t wanna miss out on these trendy tops. Just ask Kelly, her Facebook page is up and bustling with the latest Old Navy 411! And Heather’s profile goes live tomorrow, so be sure to check it out too. Plus, you can follow ALL the SuperModelquins on Twitter, so there are plenty of ways to get the inside scoop.

While we wait for them to update the site, you can practice your coupon finding skills with this list of hiding spots from last week’s refresh!

Lena – No one is being ungrateful. If you would have said that you were going to send out the same coupon to everyone, no one would have wanted it. It say right on the coupons that they are to be used one time only. Trying to have them push the coupon through manually would require a manager and it may not work. If it says it been used everyone will look like fools and maybe could be lucky with an over-ride. Thanks but no thanks.

…AND, the disclaimer says that it is good for one time and must be surrendered. That does not mean that no one else can use it if e-mailed and printed. It means that once you use it, you have to give it up to the cashier. Just like going to the grocery store and using a 50-cent off coupon for peas. Everyone buying those peas and using the coupon has the same barcode.

Mama Bear, read my last comment. Everyone is misunderstanding the meaning of one time only. It means YOU have to give up the coupon at the time of purchase. They won’t let you keep it to use multiple times. It has nothing to do with sharing it via e-mail.

I’m with Norma, kinda risky. I have to drive 45 min to get to ON and I won’t chance it. If anyone trys, let us know if it works.

    We’re really not being ungrateful!

Ya’ll just aren’t getting it. Like I said, it’s the same thing listed on any coupon for anything else…like my grocery store analogy. It says one time use. Everyone gets the same coupon out of the Sunday paper. Same barcode. You surrender it = one time use for you.

I’m going tomorrow. I have a backup coupon if Lena’s doesn’t work. I’ll let you know! What’s the risk anyway? Embarrassment? You have nothing to lose. Nothing gained, nothing lost.

Amanda, it says “barcode valide for one time use only.” Each coupon created has a unique barcode, so it is not like a grocery store coupon. Most likely, all the registers are connected to a master computer database and it keeps track of what barcodes have already been used.

I printed a coupon from two different computers using two different e-mails. While mine does not print numbers for the barcode (where do you see that anyway??) the bars look exactly the same. Again, I’ll be the guinea pig and try it anyway.

Amanda — There is a unique alphanumeric code under each barcode. I checked the code under the coupon I emailed myself and the one I gifted a friend. They’re different. ON probably won’t check the barcodes/code numbers manually but there is a chance that the computer system automatically invalidates a coupon once its unique code has been used.

Are they both $45 of $100 coupons Amanda? Mine shows a 12 digit code underneath the barcode and that 12 digit code is different on every coupon generated. Good luck on trying to use the coupon! Let us know what happens! Maybe someone can ask a store employee what the deal is with the coupons and if multiple people can use them.

BUT, this is a contest, in which you are getting 50% and 75% off, in where they only give a feww hundred of. So say, you are putting out 400 45/100 coupons and you are getting 1200 people redeeming 400 coupons don’t you think they would eventually catch on? I mean then why would people try so hard to search for these coupons when just one person can find one and post it for everyone to print. Come on, this in not a “bag of peas” and it is definately not a Manufacturer coupon nor does it work under the same guidelines. maybe it worked last week, or the week before, does not mean it will work this time and you really can’t send people 45 miles out for a maybe. if you live across the street from an ON go ahead and try it, yeah it may work, and maybe ON (who is smart enough & successful enough obviously if they are giving away free clothes, essentially) have caught on to this and have put a stop to it..but maybe they will catch on and put a stop to giving away coupons period.

OK, OK…from the FAQ on the Web site:

The coupon says “One Time Use Only” but what exactly does that mean?
Each coupon has a unique barcode that can only be used once. So once it’s been scanned and applied to a purchase the barcode will show up as invalid if it’s scanned again. The same goes for coupons that are photocopied, whoever is the first to use the coupon will receive the discount but it will not work for anyone else after that.

If this is accurate, how can you share it with someone? Does it change the barcode when you click “share?”

sharing with someone means sending them a coupon via facebook. that generates another coupon with a different barcode.

..or at least begging for the big ones. Just found out that the big ones have code numbers. My 10 off 50 coupons do not. I don’t care. One day I’ll get lucky.
