Maybe I am missing something but I went to the site and created a band name and logo but I do not see where to print off the 50% off one item coupon. Help!

    Danica:

It says to bring the logo in for 50% off.

Me either, Danica. I printed other coupons, but none of them were for 50% off one item. I thought maybe they’d e-mail it, but they don’t ask for our e-mail address either.

I printed mine, and like Danica, I do not see 50% off any item. Do we just bring the print out? I wouldn’t feel comfortable saying “I read it on the internet!”

I’m not sure what to do either. I guess try just bringing it in? I feel like this is going to create some not-so-nice conversations with confused cashiers!! Argh!

OK, I went back to the link and did an Alt-Print Screen so I could print out the first page where it says, “when you create your band name & logo and bring it into store”. Hopefully that’ll work!

I did a print screen of the pop up that shows 50% off one item and I’m going to carry that in with the logo I created.

I called old navy and they said that the printed band logo and “palooza page” printed will work.

I work at Old Navy & I’m sure that all cashiers will be told that customers get 50% off with the logo. Old Navy has been doing a ton of great coupons lately & we always get a full run down at the beginning of our shifts. Do be sure to note that it says off a FULL PRICED item though…no promo (sale) or clearance items.

Danielle, Where does it say on a FULL PRICED item?? I read the fine print on the pop up and this is all that it states.

“Offer valid 11/21/2009 at Old Navy stores in the US only. Not valid at oldnavy.com. Discount applies to merchandise only, not value of gift cards purchased, packaging, or applicable taxes. Coupon is good for one time use only and must be redeemed at time of purchase. One coupon per person per day. No adjustments on previous purchases. Not valid for cash or cash equivalent. Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts including Gap Inc. employee discount. Gap Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen coupons.”

I do not see full priced item in there at all. Could you tell me where you found that information? Thanks!

I agree with kelly. I could not find that information on “full priced item” either. In the pop up when you first go to gobblepalozza.com it says 50% OFF ANY SINGLE ITEM! so I do not know where Danielle got that information from.

FYI – I went to my local Old Navy today (11/20) and they were having 50% off of all their clearance items. Don’t know if it’s at all Old Navy’s, but I was able to scoop up some good deals!

Well, to me, when I see “Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts …” I have always assumed that means items that are on sale already, so I would assume it meant a full-priced item, although it doesn’t specifically say it.

    But that’s just me.

That’s right Michelle. It does say not to be combined with any other discount, which a sale would obviously be. Full priced items only.

Well if you read one of your old oldnavyweekly coupons, it says the same thing “not to be combined with any other offer or discount”, yet we have all been able to use those coupons on sale & clearance items.

Tara, What do you think about this coupon?

    Thanks!

I’m also an employee and that wording is a little tricky. Usually the coupon will say Full Price or Regular Price item only if it is not meant to be used on a sale item. I’d call before going in and talk to a manager.

I noticed I couldn’t print my band logo from the toolbar at the top of my page ( the “File” one). But I was able to print it when I right clicked on my gobblepaloozqa logo page and chose print from there.

I printed my coupon & brand logo just fine. However, it is for $10/$50 purchase NOT 50% a single item.

Just returned from my local Old Navy store. I brought my printout of the created band logo. The store manager told me he knew nothing about such a deal & said he was not able to access the internet (other than the old navy website) in the store. I should have printed the screen that shows the deal maybe that would have helped?

I went to Old Navy this morning in Dayton, Ohio and had no trouble using my coupon. I printed off both the created band logo and the instructions where it said to create a band logo and bring it in for 50% off. I used it on a performance fleece jacket that was on sale for $15, resulting in the $25 jacket costing me $7.50 plus tax.

Rachel was lucky–I called Old Navy Cust. Service & was told the screen that shows 50% off single item for 11/21 form the gobblepalooza website was a screen shot of someone who had won this prize & it was only good for that person if they had a code that had been emailed to them to print the actual coupon. Told me they can’t be responsible for something that was posted on another website—she was rather rude!

Well, I was unlucky and picked Miss Dumb As a Bag of Hammers at My Job to deal with. So nice, she was really sweet, but so clueless. She called the manager and was told I needed a full print out. Ok, of WHAT? I brought the band logo badge printout in, as instructed.
I called Old Navy C.S. and was told that they found the website confusing, too, but the manager of the store should have had a better grip on it. They are issuing a $1o card for me, out of courtesy.
I LOVE Old Navy in so many ways but this ad campaign w the SuperMods has been one confusing and frustrating experience after the next.
Given the time of year it is, it makes far more sense to make it all exceedingly clear in black and white, just send something, or print from pop up, that So and So Band is entitled to a Rockin’ VIP Discount of 50% off any REGULARLY priced item when they present these Band Credentials.
So simple, but the ad agency doesn’t want it to be that easy. I will keep loving ON and hope that ON goes straight soon.

I was able to use mine with no problem today. They had the puffy vests regularly $39.50 on sale for $10 today so I got mine for $5. What a deal! Wish I could have gotten more.

Sarah, it doesn’t really sound to me like your cashier was necessarily “Miss Dumb As a Bag of Hammers at My Job”…it sounds like she wasn’t told about the promo…not really her fault. People sure do get crazy when it comes to saving money…put yourself in her shoes, can’t really be expected to do a great job when you aren’t given the right tools! If the manager didn’t get the promo, how should the cashier??

I went to my store and the cashiers already knew about the promo. I was able to get 50% off ANY item, sale and clearance items were included!! Glad I went to the store even though some old navy workers on here said that we couldn’t use it on sale items! so happy! Thanks again!
