I was thinking the same thing. What is an EZ sweatshirt, I looked at their website and didn’t find a single one!

The 20% off giftcards deal, I read somewhere else, is for Old Navy Employees only. Others, as well as myself, have tried to get the 20% off on the web and so far I haven’t had any luck.

    Did anyone get it?

Oh, fyi, the reason I brought up my question and original inquiry is this post on the same deal:

So if anyone does try it, please post your experience of using the deal!

    Thanks!

I know that the 20% offer is for employees, however some employees in some stores were given a friends and family flier to give to people which allowed those F&F to have the same deal. I have not yet heard about this being available to all customers, and it might only be available if you have one of the original fliers, not a IP one. Not to say this is NOT going to be available for everyone, but there is a good chance it isn’t.

I know right now if you spend $40 on g/c you get 15% off any other clothing items you purchase, so if you are making a large purchase it is worth buying the $40 (ie, if spending $300 you would basically get the g/c for free).

Ont he commercial that has been coming on for the E Z Sweatshirts and socks, the mannequins are wearing them, and they look 3/4 sleeve. They remind of the movie flashdance, the way it kind of just hangs on the mannequin. lol but they do look comfortable, and you can’t even get Hanes sweatshirts to lounge around in at Walmart for $3. I want to go, but I everytime they have something like this, it is SSSSOOO crowded and the item is gone within an hour. When they had flip flops for $1, the line to get in was all the way to the end of the shopping center, which has a bed bath and beyond, rack room, pet smart and target between the end and Old Navy.

Well the Old Navy in MI caught on to the game. I went to buy the socks tonight and they weren’t even going to put them out till the morning. I think they know people are going to buy them early. Darn!

I went again today to another of my area’s ONs and was told again that for both items, the socks and EZ sweaters, the store will NOT put them out until Saturday morning. :( Since Im really pregnant and whiny right now, I asked the manager if this is a new policy or just something until the holidays are over. He didnt know for certain, but indicated it might just be a holiday thing. I understand the reasoning here, but darn it! There’s no way Im joining a mob on a saturday morning with 2 toddlers in tow to get a sweater and 5 pairs of socks. :(

I showed up at Old Navt at 7 am this morning (when they opened) and surprisingly it wasn’t as busy as I thought it was going to be. I was able to get 5 pairs of socks and 3 sweatshirts.

The guy let me do a 2nd transaction and buy 5 more socks :)

I am thrilled – thanks for this post, I wouldn’t have known about the sale without you.

I went to ON this morning at 7am and there was no one there! I was shocked! I was able to do four different transactions and not one employee complained. I also asked about the 20% off gift cards and they actually handed me the card and gave me 20% off!

I went to ON about 10:30 today & it was so picked over…mind you I was at the one right by the mall but still. & I was told the 20% GC ended yesterday.
I plan on making another trip out to another ON (my DH really needs sleep pants & there was nothing for boys/men at the 1st store)
so maybe I’ll be lucky & get at GC for 20% off.

Also I was told if I buy over $50 in GC I get 10% off my merchandise & another coupon for 15% off any purchase after 12/26

Funny how they all say and do things differently. The card that had the 20% off GC is for F&F and doesnt expire till 12/26. It looks like a postcard on the back. This is the one they gave me at the store after I asked about it. The manager at first said I needed the printout of the ad I saw and then said hold on and handed the card to me to use.

I got mine socks last night and will be heading out later today to get the price difference. Unfortunately they caught on and didn’t put out the sweaters last night. So hopefully there are still some when I go there later today. Thank you!

I got there at 7:45am, they opened at 8. There were about 25 other people waiting there. They had a TON of the sweaters and socks. They handed out 20% off gift card post card thingies as we were walking in. So I bought a $50 gift card for $40 in my first transaction, five of the socks and a sweater in the next transaction and used the 20% off coupon. I went through again at a different register with 5 more socks, then went to another Old Navy where they still had some socks left over, and did two more transactions to get five more and another sweater.

In total, I spent less $40 on the gift card, and still have $14.95 left. It was a great shopping day!

I also stopped by Bath and Body on my way out, with the Free Travel Sized Signature Body Product coupon, and the Free Lip Product coupon. I bought two nail files in two different transactions to use both coupons, and spent a grand total of $1.76

it is so sad that I missed the sale for the ez sweater and socks as I was calling stores to see of I could shop yesterday and bring them back for a price adjustment today and they told me no as they have not put them out yet. I am so disappointed as they are all sold out and my daughter wanted them so bad for christmas and now I have to tell her what happened and that I was attempting to buy her some. It anyone know where I can find them today, please e-mail me.

    thanks.
