Method Laundry Detergent Deals ($0.98 at Babies R Us)

February 19, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 32 Comments

This is what makes blogging fun for me… I shared this great $4/1 Method Laundry Detergent printable earlier today, and several of you jumped in and commented to share some awesome deals that we can get with it right now. I’m not sure how many of you actually take the time to click through and check out the comments every day, but this is exactly why you should!

With many thanks to Dani, here’s a super deal at Babies R Us through Saturday, 2/20:

Method Laundry Detergent (25 loads), $7.98
$4/1 Method Laundry Detergent printable
$3 off any laundry detergent at Babies R Us (Page 5 — PDF)
$0.98 after coupons!

And another big thanks to Gayle who shared this deal at Bartell Drugs:

Method Laundry Detergent (25 loads), $4.99
$4/1 Method Laundry Detergent printable
$0.99 after coupon!

Have you seen this on sale anywhere else lately? I know Target carries it, but I haven’t checked the pricing on it yet.

It sounds like it may have already reached the print limit, but there’s still a $2 coupon on the Method site which is still a decent deal.

Does anyone know if the TRU coupons automatically double or triple like Wags coupons? Do I need to print two TRU coupons if I’m buying two detergents?

Laura, you actually only need to give the TRU coupon once and it deducts automatically on how ever many items you have. I did it for the babyganics detergent deal there 2 weeks ago.

I have stacked coupons at BRU. However they will not take their coupons if they are expired, but they will take expired competitor coupons, go figure. The girl at the store couldn’t explain that one to me.

Thanks, Tara and Teri! Brigitte – TRU accepts expired coupons? Do you know how far back they accept them?

Laura you might want to check with your TRU/BRU about the coupons doubling automatically. My husband picked up 2 of these this morning for me and I had already printed 2 of each coupon and for some reason the computer was not allowing the BRU coupon to go through 2x, he had to do them as separate transactions, so he had to pay 2x. The coupon does say one coupon per guest.

I wasn’t able to print the $4 off coupon, and my local TRU/BRU had the Method detergent priced $8.49, so I passed. However, I noticed that all Johnson & Johnson baby lotion, wash, etc. was on sale 2/$6 and there’s a $3/3 printable TRU/BRU coupon in ad posted above. I bought 4, used the $3 TRU coupon, and 4 $1/1 Johnson’s Baby Product printables (smartsource.com) and bought all for just $6!

thank you for posting this! i picked up the 25 load detergent that was $8.49 and the cashier told me about some 32oz method on clearance from $10.99 marked down to $7.98 and she let me use the coupons! I was able to get 7 bottles; used 2 $4.00 off and 5 $2.00 off plus the BRU/TRU $3.00 off (x7) and 25% for the TRU/BRU loyalty card. I had 2 $5 gift cards from the facebook promotion….I ONLY PAID 65¢ for 7 bottles of method!

Wow, Robyn! What a great deal! I saw the 32-oz. bottles at the store, too… but, the Method printable coupons specified 25-oz. and 50-oz. bottles only so I didn’t bother trying to use them.
