Meijer: Purina One Dog Food 8-lb. Bag $3.21

September 28, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 13 Comments

Purina One Dog Food Deal
Meijer has a fantastic deal for stocking up on dog food right now. Pair the Meijer coupon with the manufacturer’s coupon, and you can score a 15-lb. bag of Purina One dog food for just $3.21!

Purina One Dog Food (8-lb. bag), $11.21
$5/1 Meijer Purina One Dog Food printable
$3/1 Purina One Dry Dog or Cat Food, exp. 10-13-09 (RP #2 9/13/09)
$3.21 after coupons!

The Meijer coupon is good until 12/31/09, so this would be a great time to order some extra coupons off of eBay or from a coupon clipping service.

Find more Meijer weekly deals here.

Thanks, Jackie!

The Meijer coupon says not to combine with other discount coupons. Does it matter to stack with a man. coupon?

I’ve never had a problem staking these two coupons together. Its not the first time Meijer has put them out. I had one cashier who didn’t realize you could stack at all but she was corrected by a manager. Generally not to be combined with other discount coupons are meijer coupons… I know I got a $4 off Purina one a couple weeks ago from the catalina machine. You cant combine that with the other Meijer coupon.

I meant to say that in the post. It does say not to combine, but I’m fairly sure they mean you can’t combine it with another Meijer coupon because they’ve always allowed stacking.

I am not sure if anyone else has had a problem printing these coupons. When I used the print button on the page or just printed like normal from my browser, the ad to the right of the coupon printed over top of the barcode on the coupon. I tried to change the scaling percent on the print preview window and that still did not work. I eventually looked at the source code for the web page and found the link to the actual image and went there to print. In case anyone else has the same problem, here is that link. Since this is not a coupon that controls print limits (just one per transaction though), I don’t think that there should be a problem printing this way. https://www3.meijer.com/coupons/062809/purina-coupon20090628.jpg

They should let you use both coupons together as I have twice now at my local Meijer’s store. There is also a $1.50 coupon in the bag …
I believe that the $5 off coupon can be reprinted over and over too from the Meijer site

I had a problem printing from the website. I highlighted the coupon and copied it, then pasted it into Word multiple times… then printed that out.

Stephanie T – thanks for the link to print – i was having trouble

the 20 lb bag is 16.99 — so was 8.99 after coupons

this is the brand we buy anyways and go through 20lbs a week with 3 german shepherds – so we WILL be stocking up for the rest of the year!

    thanks DSM!

my question – just one $5.00 coupon per total order transaction?

so if I got 3 bags at one time it would only take off $5.00 once?

AB Smith, I’d just have them ring the transactions separately to be safe. Most cashiers are happy to do it if you ask politely.

I copied and pasted the $5.00 off coupon into Microsoft Word three to a page and can print them anytime I want.

I’ve used 2 and 3 of this coupon in one transaction, and stacked them as well, without any problems.

Thank you SO much for this information! This is the brand of dog food that we use, so I was very excited! And then even better when my husband and I got to Meijer the original price was $10.99 so after the coupons the dog food was $2.99 per bag…better than I expected. I had to do a little explaining and math for my husband to make him realize that buying the smaller bag was a better deal, but once he finally understood and agreed he was more than happy to help out by going through the checkout line several times…and we plan on going to another Meijer tomorrow. Thanks again!
