Magazine Deals at Amazon.com For December!

December 4, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 21 Comments

Marie Claire Magazine $5 Subscription
Amazon has some hot $5 off magazine subscription deals again for December! The savings will automatically be deducted when you checkout.

As I’ve mentioned before, magazines are a great filler item when you need to spend just a little more to qualify for free Super Saver Shipping.

Hot magazines offers:

  • Marie Claire (1-year), $8
  • Food Network Magazine (1-year), $10
  • Good Housekeeping (1-year), $7.97
  • Redbook (1-year), $8
  • Seventeen (2-year), $7
  • Disney Family Fun (1-year), $4.95
  • Parents (1-year), $4.97
  • Pregnancy (1-year), $5
  • Maxim (1-year), $5

Remember, if you already have a subscription to any of these, you can still take advantage of the deals to extend your subscription. Just make sure you use the same name and address. If you happen to receive duplicates anyway, just call customer service and ask them to combine the subscriptions.

I just did it for the Disney Family Fun. The discount doesn’t show up until the VERY end before you finalize the order. You have to see it through up until that very last click to submit your order to see the discount. Maybe that was the problem with Country Living? Hope this helps.

I just went through the whole process and ended up going back to cancel because I did not receive the discount at checkout.

I went through the whole process to purchase the Redbook and never received the final discount. I had to cancel through my confirmation e-mail.

Barb, it looks like they’ve changed that one since I posted this because I’m positive that one had the $5 off earlier. I’ll remove it from the post. Thanks!

I’m sorry, Staci. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. The discount isn’t showing up on the Marie Claire page either, even though it clearly shows that it should have a $5 discount on the magazines front page here.

Thanks for the tip! I ordered Disney Family Fun and got it for free! I went through shopathome.com. Not sure if that is why I got the extra discount of $4.95 making it free – no matter to me – doing the happy dance!

I signed up for a subscription for Taste of Home for $2.00 back in September that I read about on dealseekingmom and I have yet to receive an issue in the mail. The transaction went through because the amount was deducted from my credit card. Did anybody else subscribe and receive the magazine? It has made me cautious about subscribing to anymore. Thanks
