December 4, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 26 Comments

Hallmark Coupon
If you missed out on those great $5 Hallmark purchase coupons that have been in so many magazines lately, you’ll be thrilled to know that there’s a new printable $5/$5 Hallmark Purchase coupon! Expires 12/24/09.

Thanks, MoJo Savings!

So what’s the best deal to use these coupons on?

Reader Lea shared previously that many stores have the large rolls of wrapping paper priced at $4.99. In addition, you can get a second roll at $0.99. So if you have this coupon, you could score two large rolls of wrapping paper for $0.98!

If you have a GoldCrown card, you get 100 points for buying any 3 cards – including those 49 and 99 cent ones – and there are a number of discounted items you can buy when you also are buying 3 cards. I’ll use at least $3 on that…then probably try to find a stocking stuffer:)

I used my last magazine one today. I didn’t have enough Christmas cards because we got a few from people we didn’t expect. Anyways, they have 5 packs of Christmas cards for $5. I just paid 35 cents in tax! Yeah!

Not surprised that Hallmark has been offering so many deals lately. I had read an article a few months back about how the popularity of Hallmark Ornament collecting is declining. Can’t say if that is really true or not as I don’t know.

With my last one I found monogram stickers to go with stationary I have for my daughters for a Christmas gift. They were $2.50 each — I didn’t even pay tax!

Site says I’ve printed the coupon the max amount of times, but I haven’t printed it at all. Any ideas on what I can do to get one?

    Thanks,

It would not let me print it as it said that the limited was reached. I went to the hallmark store and was able to use the one in the magazines, the two that I got in my e-mail, but would not let me use this bricks coupon? They said that they could not honor it? How do I got about dealing with this problem.

Went to get the wrapping paper. Good deal (1.40 for two rolls), but the lady at my local store treated me like a criminal! I was hot when I left!

I ran there today picked up some chocolate! I already have a million cards from clearance so i needed to find little gifts. Who doesn’t love chocolate!? I also saw some really cute ordaments for $5.95- so 95 cents plus tax isnt bad for a cute present!

I picked up some cute ornaments today. They were $5.95, so after the coupon, they ended up being $0.95 plus tax. Yay!

    Monica,

Please DO NOT copy coupons and use multiples of the same coupon. When printed coupons have the same pin on them, the stores do not get reimbursed- it is considered a fraudulent coupon, which is why more and more stores are declining internet printed coupons.

Can I use these coupons( IP and from Magazines) at one transaction?

I’m pretty sure you’ll have to use them in separate transactions, Tommy.

Hallie, the lady in the store should not have treated you so bad. A customr is a customer and she could have easily cost her store (and all hallmarks) your business for the rest of your life.

So what if you used a $5 off coupn that the store issued! Is that not why they issued it in the first place… To get you into the store and make you a customer for life! Don’t let it get you down. Tis’ the season to be MERRY!!!!

Just went to Hallmark in Dothan AL today and got an awesome deal with the coupon…if you buy 3 cards you can get the holiday hardcover book up front for $2.95, so I bought three of the 99 cent cards and the book and only paid a dollar and some change! The salesgirl forgot to promo the price of the book though, so make sure you know what you are supposed to be paying OOP…I noticed she charged me $6 and some change and asked her why if the cards were $3 total and the book was $3 and I had a $5 coupon so she had to refund my credit card for the $5. Not a biggie, but with three little ones with me it was not fun to have to wait. My 6 year old used her coupon to get a dirty santa gift for the family Christmas party (paper doll game was originally $20 with 40% off and the $5 coupon!).

I printed the coupon twice and had one from Southern Living. Went to 3 different stores while running other errands. 6 rolls of Hallmark paper (valued at $30) for $4.23…..awesome!!!! I felt like a cheapo by the last time and bought some gift boxes too.
