Kroger + Harris Teeter: Kraft Cheese Catalina Money Maker

June 22, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 32 Comments

kraft-natural-cheese-money-makerHere’s a great reason to try new Kraft Natural Cheese made with 2% milk.

You could actually get paid to take it home!

Print as many of these $1/1 Kraft 2% Milk Natural Cheese coupons as you can and read on. They expire 30 days out, so it would be a good idea to print now even if your store isn’t running a sale currently.

Kraft is running a Catalina promotion on cheese from 6/19 through 7/12.

  • Buy 3 packs of Kraft Cheese 6-oz. or larger, get $2 OYNO Catalina
  • Buy 4 packs of Kraft Cheese 6-oz. or larger, get $3 OYNO Catalina
  • Buy 5 packs of Kraft Cheese 6-oz. or larger, get $4 OYNO Catalina

Includes the following items: Kraft Shreds, Chunks, Cubes, Cticks, Crumbles, Cracker cuts, Twists, Cracker Barrel Chunks, Sticks, Cracker Cuts, Slices, Polly-O Strings/Twists, Kraft Deli Fresh Slices.

All items must be purchased in same trip.

:: Deal Scenarios

Kroger has Kraft Singles on sale this week for $1.47 and Harris Teeter also has Kraft Cheese on sale this week for $1.47, so here’s how to maximize the deal.

Buy (4) Kraft Natural Cheese Shreds, Blocks, or Singles at $1.47
Use (4) $1/1 Kraft Natural Cheese printables
(you’ll need to print from 2 computers)
Earn $1.12 on this transaction after coupons and $3 OYNO Catalina!

The Catalina offer is also reportedly working at Jewel and possibly other stores; however, I’m not sure if Kraft Cheese is on sale there currently.

Don’t forget you can use your Kraft Singles wrappers to get buy one get one free Minor League Baseball tickets!

There’s a circle at the bottom of the page on the right side. It says Save a $1. Click on it to print the coupon and then hit your refresh button to print again.

This is also working at Winn-Dixie though there are no good sales to go with it…yet. I’m sure there will be. I also found a tear pad there for $1/2 kraft natural cheeses.

The kroger sale is for regular “kraft singles” – the coupon specifies “kraft 2% milk natural” cheese – has it been tested that the regular cheese is recognized by this coupon?

The Kroger ad shows Kraft 2% Milk Singles in it, and the coupon says Kraft 2% Milk Natural Slices, so it looks like they should match up. I haven’t tested it personally though.

This is also working at Meijer. Kraft Cheese is on sale for 3/$6
(Shredded, Cubes, Crumbles or Sticks 5-8oz pkgs). If you need slices, go to Kroger and get them for free. But if you need shredded or cubes, go to Meijer and get them for 5/$1 after coupons and catalina.

I’d be interested in hearing back from someone who field tests this at Kroger…My ad says “select varieties”. If no one else reports back before tomorrow I’ll check it out and report back myself! :-)

Hmm, it sounds like possibly it’s reached it’s print limit and they haven’t updated the page yet, but I’d check back in case they reset it.

I’m new to using coupons so this question may be “dumb” but:

If I have two coupons for the same thing and am going to buy two of the identical items can I use both coupons or do I have to ring the two items up seperately??

You arenot dumb at all. I was wondering the same thing today at Harris Teeter but it worked. You do not have to ring them seperatley just put your two itens and two coupons on the counter and hand over those coupons! I got my cheeses at Harris Teeter today for 47 cents!

None of the Kroger stores in my area do the Catalinas – though they have flipping Catalina printers at all the registers. :P Do I ask about this? Call the Catalina company? Or am I just outta luck? I have a one year-old who will turn into a grilled cheese sandwich at any minute based on the way he eats the things, so this would be a great deal for me! LOL

Hmm…I assumed it was not a match at Kroger as even the 2% singles are a cheese food rather than natural cheese. They do make natural slices but they are not in plastic wrappers :-)

OYNO means on your next order. it’s a coupon that comes out of the catalina machine to be used on your next order. the catalina machine is the small machine next to the register.

There are $.50/1 Kraft Singles coupons availabe. They were in an insert, not sure which one.

Can anyone report that the cat is printing for the singles? The notification slip that printed for me before the cat deal started mentioned nothing about singles.

I just bought 4 packs of the 2% singles (1.47 each, with 1.00 coupons made them .47/ea) at Kroger in VA but the Catalina did not print – and I didn’t catch it until I got home – darn! That is the second time that’s happened to me recently…oh well, 47 cents for cheese is still a fabulous deal!

The cashier at my Meijer told me her catalina printer was out of paper and she didnt feel like refilling it after I made my purchase, I went to the service desk and complained and they gave me a $10 gift card….. I was happy I didnt even have to mention my mom who is a regional store director like person.

I purchased 5 of the 2% Kraft singles. I didn’t have any coupons so paid the 1.47 for them, but no Catalina printed. I will call the number to see if I can get them to give me a Catalina, but 1.47 is still a great deal. I never buy slices because they are so expensive!!! Grilled cheese sandwiches and free tomato soup, anyone? =)
