Improve Your Garden Giveaway: The Home Depot $100 Gift Card

July 12, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

sweet-peppers-7-12-09Yes, those are my pretty little peppers! My garden went in late, so it’s just now starting to produce. Hopefully you’re already harvesting your own fresh, homegrown produce!

The Home Depot asked me to share some facts with my readers about their Garden Club, AND they’ve generously given me yet another $100 The Home Depot gift card to give away! The lucky winner will be able to get products to beef up their garden or to help out with any other project around the house.

  • Did you know that members of The Home Depot Garden Club can get their questions answered by experts? It’s true – if you can’t find the answer to your burning garden and lawncare question, you can ask an expert and expect a response within 24 hours.
  • The Home Depot Garden Club also provides valuable information about your region and updates on local gardening events online!
  • And members can expect to receive exclusive coupons and tips, and DIY advice on gardening, lawn care, landscaping and outdoor living projects.

I know I’ve been a happy subscriber for some time now, and the coupons that are sent out are an excellent value.

Want to win a $100 gift card to The Home Depot?

Check out The Home Depot Garden Club site, and then tell me what your favorite garden, lawncare, or DIY project is. If you want to go ahead and sign up for the club, even better!

    Tara,
This gift card would come in handy for either paint to spruce up the place, or for window treatments, after I get my new windows. Thank Tara, for the opportunity:)

My 6 1/2 year old daughter and I love our garden! We built a box 8′ x 4′ and crammed the plants in there. It is amazing how much can grow in that tiny space. This year we have enjoyed tomatoes, squash, basil, rosemary, lettuce, strawberries, and some beautiful sweet pea flowers. To enrich the soil for our garden next year, we have started making our own compost. The vegetables taste great, and I feel good about serving them to my family, but the best part is the time I spend with my daugher out in the garden nurturing the tiny plants and sharing her excitement over what we have grown.

I liked the DIY of how to train a rose or any other crawling plant to go up an arbor. I think we could successfully do this project with the extra funds offered with the gift card. Thanks for a great giveaway.

We used the Home Depot Do It Yourself Projects to jump start our composting. They showed it in 5 easy steps. Earlier this year I went to Home Depot and bought everything I needed for my raised by garden including the items needed to install a drip system. What an empowering feeling to be able to figure out something that you have never done before.

ok- so i have the worst back in history…. it could be gorgeous- key word is “could”!! it goes out about 30 feet and drops down 40ft on a hill. we now have a very active toddler who is a little wild banshee, the sad part it is so expensive to put up a fence i can’t ever let her go out there. i would use this gc to add to the money we’ve been saving to build a great outdoor space and much needed fence for our little girl to run wild in with out fear she would injur herself! thanks for the opportunity tara- love your blog!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
