Do you know the start date for the cash register receipt?
I bought a couple Glade candles yesterday.
Does that count or does the rebate start today?

Last week, I used my 3 Glade coupons to buy 3 2-oz. candles. With the coupons, I got them free. Now, I can get $5 back? Can’t beat that! Plus, I plan on buying some Ziploc bags and other items, so I will try to use my other 2 rebates as well! Thanks for the info!

Wow, Price Chopper just had fantastic & Windex for $2.00. I used double dollar coupons and got 2 windexes & 2 fantastics totally free just last week. The rebate form doesn’t say a particular date for the CRT. Think I can send in last week’s great deals and make $5.00 on this deal??

I was wondering the same thing about when it started. Last week, I stopped at Target at least a couple times for the great Glade Tin Candles at .16 each after coupon. I think I still have the receipts. If not, I’m sure I’ll buy more stuff, we seem to use just about everything on that list. Maybe I’ll get something with double coupon k-mart deals.

I’m curious about the start date as well….It says nothing on their site. I bought some already and my candle stash is already STOCKED! I’d love to get the rebates(s) but don’t want to put in the effort of hunting down the receipt if it is too late!

I read on AFC that someone called and the start date for the receipts is 10/01/09

Looks like everyone else is wondering the same thing as me…the start date! I got a receipt in front of me with 4 Scrubbing Bubbles (had some great coupons!) and am wondering if I should send it in. Certainly isn’t a start date on the form and it was only last week I bought them.

Will we still get the $5 back even though we didn’t spend anything out of pocket? Or with the tins… the total of 3 only comes to $4.50 so will they only give us that… I’m new to this whole rebate thing… any help we be great.

I called the 800 number today to ask about the rebate. I just purchase 6 of these items yesterday but they we all on one receipt. so they told me this offer doesn’t start until October 1 and runs thru the end of June, 2010. so I am confused and disappointed. please post if you are told something different. I would love to take advantage or this rebate. I have purchase so much of this stuff in the last few months.

I just emailed them and told them that I had just purchased a bunch of Glade today before they posted the date on the rebate form and to add the date after they’ve posted it for a date after is kind of ridiculous. If your going to post such a great rebate it should start when you put it on your website!! I hope they change their minds about this….

GREAT Info! anyone that can answer, do you know if you can submit the rebate to a PO box??? The form doesn’t seem to say you cannot – it just says ) not to multiple addresses/po boxes. Problem is I live at the end of the beach and we do not have mail delivery, so I have no choice but to use a PO box for all my mail. If you don’t know the answer, any chance I can get the # to call and ask them??? I hate to submit and have it rejected (what a disappointment/waste of time that would be). Any help is appreciated! :-)

Also was wondering about the price paid for the items.

The rebate form says to circle the “purchase price of the products,”
but what if you used a coupon? Do you just circle that part too?
And what if it was the coupon for the FREE glade candle, do you think they will accept that too?

They really don’t have a good enough explanation of the rebate terms.

You may be having problems if you don’t have Adobe Acrobat Reader updated. Or if you have a pop-up blocker or some virus software that might prevent the form from downloading.

On the subject of what they will take – they will take any 3 of these products. It doesn’t matter the price of the products (per their rebate form information), and you are “paying” for the products when you use coupons – the coupons show at the bottom – the listed price of the product is all they want circled!

    Thanks!

My target has the scrubbing bubbles on sale for 2.14 each. There are $2/off 2 coupons on the sprays. If you buy 4 you’d only spend 4.56 and get back $5.00.

I went to Target today and got 3 tins ($2.99 each), used 3 $1.50 off coupons and got 3 refills free with another coupon for purchasing the tins. Great deal! So I think I paid $4.50 total for 3 tins and 3 refills. (I bought some other things, too — used coupons on those too, of course)!!

FYI – I BOUGHT 4 GLADE ODOR AND FABRIC ELIMINATOR BOTTLES – THEY ARE $3.49 AT TARGET (REGULAR PRICE) HOWEVER, THE BOTTLES ON THE SHELF HAVE A COUPON THATS SAYS “SAVE 2.00 NOW”, IT IS A TARGET COUPON, IF YOU STACK IT WITH THE BOGO GLADE ODOR ELIMINATOR MANUFACT. COUPONS OUT THERE (SOME FOUND IN THE ALL YOU mAGAZINES) , YOU GET 2 BOTTLES FOR $1.49 + TAX. I GOT A TOTAL OF 4 BOTTLES FOR $2.98 + TAX AND YOU CAN SUBMIT FOR THE REBATE.

ALSO – THERE IS AN ACTIVE LINK RIGHT NOW FOR 1.50 OFF TWO ZIPLOC PRODUCTS ( I JUST PRINTED THE COUPONS LAST NIGHT) , AND K-MART DOUBLES THIS WEEK, SO THEIR ZIPLOC BAGS ARE ON SALE FOR 2/$4.00, SO THE COUPON WILL DOUBLE TO $3.00, LEAVING YOU WITH A TOTAL OF $1.00 FOR EVERY TWO BOXES YOU PURCHASE. REMEMBER: YOU CAN PRINT THE COUPON TWICE IF YOU ARROW BACK. SO YOU CAN GET 4 BOXES OF ZIPLOC BAGS FOR $2.00 AND SUBMIT FOR YOUR REBATE.

Well, I was not very successful. Only 2 of the tins had coupons and I had brought 1 from a magazine. So I bought 3 tins and 2 refills. They would not take the refill free coupon. The register would not accept them. One lady even went and just rang up one tin and one refill and then tried just the free refill coupon and it would not work. I bought a refill package that had an extra one in it and they said sometimes the register will not read it if is a bonus pack. By the time I get the rebate and the gift card I will come out even, but still disappointing!

I was successful! My target only had one of the tins that had the $1.50 coupon still in it. Searched more and found on the end cap candle holders that were glass with the oil candle in it and a coupon in each one for $2 off 2. They were on sale for $2.50 each as were the refills. So i used 2 of the $2 coupons and the one coupon i found for $1.50 off and saved $5.50. So i got 5 of them for $4.50 and then got my $5.00 gift card, plus i had 4 coupons for the free refills when buying the refillable holder. These are prettier to me than the tins, cause they are glass and holiday scented. Apple cinnamon. Yippie!

oops, i can’t add, i got 5 of them for $7, still not bad especially when you throw in the refills free and the $5 gift card.

Thanks for this fabulous deal. They had the special holiday glass containers at my target, each one with a coupon in it (easy to retrieve) so it was a super good deal, plus the coupons for the free refill and the 2 $5 gift cards. I also found on clearance the Crayola 3-D sidewalk chalk packs with glasses for $1.24 (was around $6.00). They had the buy 2 get 1 free keebler cookies with a $1.00 off of 1 new sticker on it, used in conjunction with the target coupon – what a great deal. Free connect 4 travel games. My original total was around $80, but with coupons it was only $30 minus the 2 $5 gift cards and 2 mail in rebates my total oop was only around $10. Thanks all of you deal seekers!!!!
