Unfortunately, I believe you are incorrect about some of the deals you have listed, because you may be mistaken about their coupon policy. So I have copy and pasted their doubling policy below to help you all in understanding a little more about Harris Teeter, where I shop during their triple coupon weeks. Harris Teeter Doubling Policy as follows:

    * We accept 20 double coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.
    * We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.
    * We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.
    * No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled.
    * In the event of triple coupons, up to 20 coupons will be tripled per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.

And if this doesn’t clarify enough I am also pasting in the url for the page where you can find their complete coupon policy. Just thought this might help since I was under some misconceptions the very first time I went through a Harris Teeter checkout, too!

    Happy Shopping, Ladies!

Thanks for the info, Stephanie! I guess I misunderstood what the blogs I linked to were referring to when they said HT was doubling up to $1.98 face value. In actuality, they only double coupons up to $0.99 in face value, which is a big distinction, and I’ll make that change to my post.

The calculations on all of the deals I posted should remain the same though.

Can anybody pleas explain the face value? Does it mean after doubling or just the value of the coupon?
say I have a coupon of $1 off, it the produc is $1.75, will I get it for free?

Occasionally Harris Teeter does do Super Double coupons up to $1.99. Since they always double up to .99 hopefully the Super Double Tara heard about is true.

Oh, see, now I’m confused. Harris Teeter isn’t a store that’s local to me, so I’m not that familiar with their coupon policies. These ladies wrote to me and said they were doing super doubles, so if anyone can confirm the amount they’ll be doubling up to, I’d really appreciate it!

To clarify, many sources have verified that HT will be having Super Doubles beginning tomorrow. This means for this sale week (8/26-9/1)., HT will double coupons with a face value up to and including $1.98. Your $1.50 Qs will be worth $3 . Your matchups do look accurate, Tara! HTH!

    Tara,

I am a Harris Teeter loyal shopper in the Shelby, NC area and friends with the management staff and even most of the cashiers. I am very well versed in their coupon policy!

You are correct in posting the SuperDouble Sale…

If you or anyone has any questions regarding this just email me directly.
