What mom wouldn’t love a little quiet time for Mother’s Day? Well, JAKKS Pacific is offering you just that in the form of an entertainment basket for all ages filled with these popular JAKKS Pacific toys:
- Timmy Time Small Plush — Features all key characters from the show, including Timmy, Mittens the Kitten, Ruffy the Puppy and Yabba the Duckling. These cuties are huggable and playable – the perfect collectible plush!
- Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Figures — Realistic-looking 4″ Battle Packs Figure Assortment ‘with secret reveal’ are perfectly sized for collecting, displaying and recreating scenes from the latest installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise! Each figure includes a unique LED Accessory to shine a light onto the figure to reveal its inner secret and unlock additional features on the Queen Anne’s Revenge Deluxe Ship play set (sold separately). Highly detailed 6″ Movie Moments Figures celebrate favorite characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean world.
- Disney·Pixar Cars 2 Piston Cup Patio Set — Now kids can feel like grown-ups with their very own kid-sized Disney·Pixar Cars 2 Piston Cup Patio Set! Featuring washable plastic tabletop with cool in-laid graphics that won’t scratch, fade or peel! The patio set comes with a table, umbrella and two folding patio chairs. Perfect for outdoor patios, pool decks, and backyards! Sturdy tubular steel construction and easy adult assembly.
My kids had a blast with these items, and they really did keep them entertained for a significant period of time — especially the patio set. My 3-year-old was excited when the Timmy Time plush showed up, but his eyes really lit up when he saw the patio set box, and he insisted that we put it together right away. It was raining that day, so we set it up in the living room, and my three youngest played restaurant with it all day.
My oldest boys were completely enamored with the Pirates of the Caribbean toys. They’re all about playing pirates, and the glowing ring that came with one of the figures was the perfect complement to their pirate garb.

I make my own lace up cards – take simple pictures from a coloring book that have been colored by the older kids, glue to posterboard or inserts from packaged t-shirts, use a single hole punch and punch along the outline of the item in the picture. Give the kids some yarn or shoestrings and let them lace in and out of the holes!

My son is only 16 months and the only thing that will occupy him long enough for me to take a quick shower without worrying about him, is letting him watch his signing DVD’s. He loves them!
