How does an extra $50 to stretch your Christmas budget sound?

I know for many of us it would be a true blessing right now. Well, you’re in luck, because I’ve got one $50 Walmart gift card up for grabs today that will arrive just in time to do some Christmas shopping!

So how can you win this?

If you’re anything like me, I’m sure if you won this $50 GC, you’d end up spending it on anyone BUT yourself. So just for a minute I’d like you to pretend that you have no other obligations and can use this money to buy yourself a little something special. I think as mom we often overlook treating ourselves, so I’d like to hear what you’d buy if you were the winner. Resources for ideas are the Walmart website and the 2008 Holiday Entertaining Guide. Of course, if you’re the winner you can use the gift certificate to purchase anything you want.

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four, for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

    A whole $50 just for me? It seems like a fantasy. First, and this seems like a bad joke but as I was telling a friend the other day – I’d replace some underwear. After 2 kids in 2 1/2 years and no grandparents to send me underwear and socks for my Christmas stockings;) my underwear drawer is in sad shape. I think I’d like a bra that doesn’t require instructions to operate and is built just for my use and not a little one’s as well.

    If I were to win I would buy my self some candy or cookies that I did not have to share with my 7 LOVING children!!! Then I would go by myself some hot chocolate, bubble bath, candle, and some ear plugs and go home and take a long, hot, QUIET bubble bath,

    I would buy some new CD’s. I love listening to music in the car on the way to and from work, but CD’s have taken a back shelf for awhile with monies being tight!

    Spending it on myself.. wow that is hard! Does groceries count?? I’m guessing not! :) Okay if I must, I would buy some things to organize with, I’m always looking to organize or reorganize as my family needs grow. I work full time from home, have two little boys, and a small blog that is busy busy work. So being organize is so important in my house for me to function.
