I talked a little bit the other day about how we’ve learned to stick to our budget yet still treat ourselves by using coupons. The Entertainment Book is one of our favorite resources for recreational coupons.
A quick flip through my local 2010 Entertainment Book reveals that it’s packed full of BOGO coupons for restaurants we love, as well as big savings at local movie theaters, theme parks, and even retail stores like Aeropostale and World Market. The price is more than worth the savings to be gained from it. Plus you can now register online and you’ll have access to more local coupons that are updated throughout the year!
Three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will win a copy of the 2010 Entertainment Book for their hometown, each packed with hundreds of discounts and coupons!
To enter, tell me what you splurge on with the money you save from couponing and living frugally! Do you love to eat out? Do you have a favorite dessert or coffee drink that you can’t resist? Do you love expensive purses or fashion accessories?

Saving Our Way (Eleanor)
The money we save by couponing & living frugally is usually spent sparingly! When we do splurge its usually on a meal out for my husband & myself when we have a family member or babysitter watch our little one. Or its on something that we’ve been pining after for a long time! Such as my new cell phone that I got for my birthday! LOVE IT! Been wanting it FOREVER! Felt a little guilty spending $100 on myself for a phone but truly covet my phone!

We love to go to the movies!

We love to go out to the movies. It is expensive, but we both love it and a once a month date to see a new flick is worth it for us.

We don’t really splurge that much. Our extra money goes towards “date day”. On Fridays’ my husband and I meet for lunch at a really cheap yummy place to eat while the kids are in school. We don’t know have a babysitter and can’t afford “dinner” pricing, so this plan works great. We usually spend about $7-8 between the both of us per week!!

I love crafting, so I will buy yarn or fabric for crafts (which I hope to sell to earn back the money I spent!)

We both work 12+ hours every day so on Saturday nights we have date night. Whether it is going out to eat or getting a bottle of wine and sitting by the fire talking. And since we like to spice it up, the first Saturday of every month is Culture Night. We go out to a restaurant from a culture we aren’t familiar with. Last month was an authentic Thai restaurant. We’re still debating on this month.
