    I let my hubby (who loves to eat out, me not so much) splurge on lunches. He works from home, so I usually make him lunch…but he’s able to frequent a favorite restaurant 1x-2x a week!

    Our family likes to splurge on our hobbies separately: a nice cigar for my husband, a new book for me, and a new toy for my son.

    We save whereever possible to allow ourselves 2-3 short vacations a year (which of course also are done using as many promos/coupons/freebies as possible) Being able to take a few days away every six months or so and have no one to worry about but each other is a very important thing for us

    Food. My husband likes good coffee, so he purchases it from a local coffee shop and brews it at home. Also, when Porterhouse Steak is on sale, sometimes I will purchase a couple of steaks and my husband will grill them. For the kids, if Chocolate Milk is Reduced for Quick sale, I’ll pick up one. The kids are So excited to get it, that it’s gone that day.

    I like to splurge on things that bring my family together. From going to dinner or to the movies as a family makes my day!

    Our splurges are attending sporting events – we usually go to a couple baseball games a year, and we try to get to one college football game and a hockey game. Fun!
