    I am absolutely a Yankee Candle-holic…I love all candles, but Yankee has so many wonderful aromas to try, I can’t resist. The holidays are coming and so are the sales at Yankee, and a great time for me to stock up on the holiday scents. I just finished my last two, so its time to head to the store and sniff up some more!!! So glad that I’ve saved all this money from your website Tara…You’re the BEST!!!

    I splurge at two different places, Michael’s Craft Store, because I can’t get enough of making jewelry and quilting, and which ever clothing store is having a really good sale.

    We splurge by going out to eat…keeps us sane! I also earned a Starbucks card through SwagBucks, and that’s my own little treat!

    We usually splurge on the kids – right now hubby is building a tree house/swingset. Way cheaper because he is building it himself, but the wood and materials still cost plenty.

    I have subscriptions to a couple of comic books. I also tend to buy books (at the used book store) rather than use the library or borrow from friends.

    We eat at Pizza Hut every Tuesday at lunch. They have the best lunch buffet. There is a coupon in the newspaper everyday for $1 off, up to four people can use it. The best thing is every tuesday is double punch day for their frequent buffet card. After ten punches, you get a free buffet. They add up quickly. We have used the cards to help a family that was displaced, a family that can’t afford to go out to eat very often, my husband has used them to take others in his office out to eat when it is his turn to buy, etc.

    We get great service there because we are there every week. As soon as we walk in, the manager has them start making our favorite pizzas to put on the buffet.

    My husband and I both work, and he goes to law school at night … so weekends are the only time we can see each other for more than 2 hours at a time. We try to eat out, go to baseball games, do things around the city, etc. as much as we can!
