I talked a little bit the other day about how we’ve learned to stick to our budget yet still treat ourselves by using coupons. The Entertainment Book is one of our favorite resources for recreational coupons.

    I subscribe to your emails. And I splurge on Coach bags when they have their friends & family coupons — OK so maybe thats not totally splurging as they’re on sale, but its still an expensive purchase, right?! Hee hee :)

    I get your emails!

    I splurge by going out to eat with my husband and children every Friday night! We go places that I have coupons for or gift certificates through restaurant.com … but it is something we all enjoy doing! Sometimes we will even run to grab some ice cream after (again with coupons) – now that is a true treat!

    My family has a date night every Friday night. We still try to keep it simple when going out but there are some Friday’s that we do splurge. It’s fun to pick the place you want to go and look forward to it during the week!

    We splurge by getting cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory – it’s so good but so expensive, so that’s a really nice treat when we can get that!

    Hi i like to splurge on My Hair I have it done at a salon every 3-4 months where i have highlights & cut, wash & pampering for me. It usually is around $100.00 so that is my splurge for 4 months. I know that i save more than $25 a month on my groceries!

    I use websites like restaurant.com to buy discounted gift certificates. We also try to book reservations on OpenTable.com which is a free online reservations website that you can earn points towards free gift cards to any participating restaurants.

    We have movie nights with our savings. Sometimes we go to the early shows or sometimes we rent and have ice cream shakes with popcorn.
