Giveaway: $100 Walmart Gift Card

November 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

If you were excited about my $50 Walmart gift card giveaway, I’m hoping you’ll be doubley excited about a $100 Walmart gift card!

That’s right – I’ve got a $100 gift card ready to send out to make one Deal Seeking Mom reader’s Christmas a little merrier, and I’ve been assured that this will definitely arrive in time for the holidays.

I’ll make entering easy for everyone!

Check out the new Walmart 2008 Holiday Gift Guide as well as the Walmart website and let me know what gifts you’d spend this cool $100 on.  I’d like to know what the item (or items) is, who it’s a gift for, and why you think it would knock their socks off this Christmas.  Maybe this will help give us some ideas for those hard-to-buy-for people we all know!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what gifts you would purchase with this $100 gift card answering my questions above!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 $100 Walmart Gift Card

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 1st. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Tuesday, December 2nd. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

Oh, and I would use the gift card towards an Elmo Live! for my 18 month old daughter. She is a huge Elmo fan and freaks out every time we pass a pile of them in a store. It would definitely knock her little socks right off!

I’d probably save the rest to shop the after-Christmas sales and get a head start on presents for next year since I’ll (hopefully) be very pregnant with #2 and exhausted by then and not feel like doing much shopping!

    Thanks for running this contest!

I would buy a DVD / VCR player combo for hubby. Both of ours are broken and I know he would be so surprised to get new ones~~especially this year when things have been so tight. Other than that, I would get some great deals at CVS/Walgreens to add to our “Support the Troops” at work. Our office has adopted 12 men that are not getting anything from home and send them a package every month. We want them to know we appreciate every sacrifice they make for us each and every day!!!!!

I would buy a digital photo frame for my parents. We do a similar photo show on the pc and they love it. I would load candid pics of the grandkids and greatgrandkids. They would enjoy this so much! Thanks for the giveaway!

Ooh, how fun! I’d get warm jammies for my sister for Christmas morning, a Wii game for my BIL, and some toys for my son’s first Christmas.

I would pick up a few sweaters and fleece lined hoodies for the girls I am buying Christmas gifts for at the local homeless shelter thru my church. I would also grab an ink cartridge for my own stocking so I can keep printing all my coupons. LOL!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
