Giveaway: $100 Walmart Gift Card

November 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

If you were excited about my $50 Walmart gift card giveaway, I’m hoping you’ll be doubley excited about a $100 Walmart gift card!

That’s right – I’ve got a $100 gift card ready to send out to make one Deal Seeking Mom reader’s Christmas a little merrier, and I’ve been assured that this will definitely arrive in time for the holidays.

I’ll make entering easy for everyone!

Check out the new Walmart 2008 Holiday Gift Guide as well as the Walmart website and let me know what gifts you’d spend this cool $100 on.  I’d like to know what the item (or items) is, who it’s a gift for, and why you think it would knock their socks off this Christmas.  Maybe this will help give us some ideas for those hard-to-buy-for people we all know!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what gifts you would purchase with this $100 gift card answering my questions above!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 $100 Walmart Gift Card

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 1st. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Tuesday, December 2nd. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

I love Walmart. With the $100 Walmart gift card, I would buy a TomTom GPS satellite Navigation System 3rd Edition for the rollback sales price of $128.88! ( What a fabulous deal! ) I would give it to my husband for Christmas. Our daughter has a GPS system and loves it. My husband has been yearning for a GPS system for several years, but is too frugal to treat himself to one. A gift of this GPS system would thrill and surprise him and knock his socks off. After 32 years of marriage, that’s a surprise-worthy and useful treat that I would love to give him!

I would put it towards buying Rock Band 2 for the hubby. He’s been begging for it and insists that if he does not receive it for Christmas he will be buying it after Christmas lol. So to help save from the hubby going on a Rock Band 2 craze it would be great to use this towards it.

This year we are most grateful for a roof over our heads and food on the table. The gift certificate would certainly maintain a vast amount of food to keep my family fed. Thank you for the opportunity.

I would love to buy my son the Eyeclope night vision goggles or “mission goggles” as he refers to them. Or, put this towards a new digital camera for the family!

I would love to get my 5 mo. old dd a Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo, my 2 yo. dd a magnedoodle or aquadoodle, and any left toward an Xbox 360 game for dh. Like most everyone else, we are tightening our belts this year – so the jumperoo and video game especially are luxuries we may go without.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
