Giveaway: $100 Walmart Gift Card

November 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

If you were excited about my $50 Walmart gift card giveaway, I’m hoping you’ll be doubley excited about a $100 Walmart gift card!

That’s right – I’ve got a $100 gift card ready to send out to make one Deal Seeking Mom reader’s Christmas a little merrier, and I’ve been assured that this will definitely arrive in time for the holidays.

I’ll make entering easy for everyone!

Check out the new Walmart 2008 Holiday Gift Guide as well as the Walmart website and let me know what gifts you’d spend this cool $100 on.  I’d like to know what the item (or items) is, who it’s a gift for, and why you think it would knock their socks off this Christmas.  Maybe this will help give us some ideas for those hard-to-buy-for people we all know!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what gifts you would purchase with this $100 gift card answering my questions above!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 $100 Walmart Gift Card

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 1st. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Tuesday, December 2nd. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

I would buy Christmas gists for my kids. I am waiting to take my NCLEX exam and can’t apply for a job until it’s done and I have the results.

I would use it towards purchasing three men’s bike for our three sons.

Yesterday my husband and I went to the early sale on Thanksgiving to purchase three (3) Men’s 26″ Mongoose mountain Spire bikes that had been advertised to be at Kmart locations only on this day. Well, after two stores and many, many, miles later in our Ford 350 truck, we come home empty handed. It might have been for good, as you see ,because of the “terrific” price, we were going to put in on our credit card that we are trying not to use and pay off and get out of debt. Sooooo… as I’m sure you are all doing, we will wait to see if there is a little extra for gifts for the boys or wait for the after Christmas sale and in the meantime remember why we celebrate this time and do so with a grateful and contented heart.

I have had my eye on a camera there for a few days now (Kodak easy share)-of course, this would be a present for me but it would enable me to make those kodak moments of the kids and there presents!

I would buy my husband a new 4 slot toaster. He eats toast every single morning and has worn out his toaster. He currently has a 2 slot toaster but has mentioned several times that a 4 slot toaster would cut his toasting time in half. So, believe it or not, I think my husband will be pleased getting a new toaster for Christmas!

My husband and I adopted our first chld from Russia a little over 6 months ago so our finances are really tight. Our son is really into trains so we would buy a cool train set for him, probably Thomas! He listens each morning for the train to come and it’s been fun teaching how to “Woo Woo”!

My son has processing problems and is very slow. Electronic games that work on his skills help so much. He needs more challenge so I would get him the Didj so he could work on his math facts and spelling words. Thanks!

I would put it towards buying Rock Band 2 for the hubby. He’s been begging for it and insists that if he does not receive it for Christmas he will be buying it after Christmas lol. So to help save from the hubby going on a Rock Band 2 craze it would be great to use this towards it.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
