Entertainment Book As Low As FREE Today Only

May 11, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 17 Comments

The Entertainment Book is one of my favorite resource for recreational coupons. A quick flip through my local 2010 Entertainment Book reveals that it’s packed full of B1G1 coupons for restaurants we love, as well as big savings at local movie theaters, theme parks, and even retail stores like Aeropostale and World Market.

The Entertainment book is on sale for just $12 for the next 12 hours. You can score a copy as low as FREE when you shop through ShopAtHome! Here’s how to get your discount:

  • Login or register with ShopAtHome.
  • Click through this link to earn $7 cash back for purchasing the Entertainment Book through ShopAtHome.
  • New ShopAtHome customers will get an additional $5 bonus for making their first purchase, making the book FREE after cash back!

Even if you’re already a ShopAtHome customer, you’ll still get your book for just $5. The coupons in the Entertainment Book are good through 11/1/10, so you’ll definitely recoup that and more!

Thanks, The Frugal Find!

I recently signed up for ShopAtHome for a different deal, but never got the $5. I e-mailed & was told they don’t have that offer. Has anyone that’s signed up recently gotten the $5?

Wendy, I just talked to my ShopAtHome contact, and she said that in order to get the $5 bonus, you must have signed up through a referral link like the one in my post. If you can email me or use the contact form and tell me who referred you, I can pass it along and she said she’d look into it for you.

so your really not getting the item for free, shop at home sends you a check once you hit $20 cash rebates. Am I seeing this right?

You won’t get a confirmation from Entertainment Book on the cash back. Your ShopAtHome account will track your purchase when you click through their site to buy the book.

Your cash back will remain in your account until you reach the minimum payout amount of $20, this would include your $5 bonus credit, so when you purchase an Entertainment book you’ll already have $12 in your account. ShopAtHome has over 3,000 stores that offer cash back, and I frequently post deals that utilize their site, so you have plenty of opportunities to earn the additional $8 you’d need to receive your payment.

Worked for me. $5.00 bonus + $7.00 cash back in my account. I just need $7.00 in cash back to get my $20.00 payout from shop at home. Thanks. I wanted an Entertainment book too!

If you have upromise, you can get 12% back. Do the entertainment books have a lot of coupons that can be used anywhere or are they only local coupons?

There are different Entertainment Books for every region. When you’re purchasing, it will ask you where you live so that you get offers that are tailored to you. If you’re planning to travel this summer, it might be wise to purchase a book for your destination!

Brandy, the $7 won’t show up immediately. It can take up to 30 days for them to receive the info from the company verifying your purchase.

      From the ShopAtHome FAQS:

Depending on the store, this can take up to 30 days. We credit your account with a rebate when the store you’ve bought from tells us about your purchase.

I got mine, thanks! The $5 was added to my account balance (and yes I’ll get a check once my balance hits $20 but since I shop quite a bit online it shouldn’t take very long since I’ve already earned $12).

I think they extended this offer since the countdown clock today states there is 9 hours left. Also Cashbaq is offering $6 which is not as good as Shop At Home but if you are new to Cashbaq (and already have an account at Shop At Home) that might be a better offer for you.

Both shopathome and cashbag are great sites. I have received checks from both so if you are hesitate to order I would say do it. Doesn’t take long to get to the minimum and get your money. Especially when you do the deals listed here. Just my 2 cents worth.

Can you tell me what possibly could be wrong with why I am not getting the E-mail from Dealseekingmom in my in box anymore. I used to get e-mail everyday from the site but the last time I got anything was May 3. Now it goes into my spam and when I pull it up from the spam there are not pictures in it anymore and it is different. Did the site change in anyway?

    Thanks,

Sheriann, if it’s going to your bulk folder, then you just need to mark it as not spam so it will start going to your inbox again. Then the pictures should show up also. I did change the format last week because a number of people weren’t receiving it at all, but we’re still looking into other options because it doesn’t seem like the ideal solution.
