CVS: Unadvertised Huggies Wipes Deal

February 22, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 61 Comments

Wow, Huggies Wipes are priced at 2/$5 this week, which isn’t a very exciting deal until you hear that the large 216-ct. refill packs are also ringing up at just $2.50!

Edited: Looks like this was a pricing error by CVS that has been corrected.

Some readers have reported receiving $2 off Huggies Wipes coupons when they scan their card at the in-store scanners, plus there’s also a $1/2 Huggies Baby Wipes via Upromise Deposit coupon available.

I’m also told that there was a $1/1 Huggies Wipes manufacturer coupon in the January Safeway coupon booklet, so if all of these sources align for you, you’ve got FREE wipes.

Huggies Wipes Refill Pack (216 ct.), 2/$5
$1/1 Huggies Wipes (Safeway January Coupon Booklet)
$2/1 Huggies Wipes CVS Coupon
$1/2 Huggies Baby Wipes via Upromise Deposit
As low as FREE after both coupons and Upromise deposit!

Be sure to check out the weekly CVS deals for more ways to save.

Thanks, The Frugal Find!

My SIL got this deal last night also. There are no signs but it is the BIG refill bags. Check them at the price scanner first, they will say 2/$5.

if you scan your CVS card at a coupon/price check center in the store, some people are getting a $2/1 coupon for huggies wipes.

don’t do Upromise so don’t know about how to get that coupon.

i just went to CVS. the 216 count is $2.50 here. there were only about 3 bags left after i bought two.

i didn’t get the $2/1 coupon, but i did get a $5/15 CVS coupon. $2.50 is awesome price. yeah. thanks for posting.

Upromise is a college savings program. When you buy certain items, money is deposited in a savings account. So in this case you’d get a $1 deposit to this savings account when you purchase two Huggies Wipes. It’s a nice way to save a little more, and it can be stacked with both manufacturer and store coupons because it’s not a true coupon.

I was able to get the $2.50 deal. The cradenza printed out a $2.00 off wipes coupon plus a $4.00 coupon for a box of diapers and $5 off $15 purchase coupon. You might want to note that the valentines candy is 75% off (at least at my store.) I was able to use a $1/2 coupon and get M&Ms for $.49/bag.

Thanks for letting us know about the wipes deal!

I just went to my store and the clerk told me a woman came in earlier and bought a cart full! I hate it when that happens! Oh well. I did get a $5/15 to print so I did the Dr. Pepper 12 pk deal. There were peelies for $1/2 12 pk. Worked out to be a great deal with the $5/15!!

I just got 3 packages… I figure I will go back this evening and grab a couple more for my sister since her baby shower is next month. Didn’t get any good coupons at all $1 off 2 CVS haircare products and $1 off 2 CVS Skincare products.

Thank you so much! I have two in diapers and love Huggies wipes! I bought four of them and they rang up full price but when she scanned my Extra Care card it brought them down to $2.50! Yay!! I’m in the New Orleans area, by the way.

I just went, and there were none on the shelf. When I inquired about rainchecks, the manager told me the price on refill packs is a glich in the system and corporate is working on it, so, stock up while you can find them on the shelf, ladies! They will be changing the price back soon! (oh, and I live in western ny)
