I noticed you stated you plan to get another coupon insert. Here is a great tip from one of my members. Instead of purchasing another paper ask the store what they do with the papers they don’t sell. Most stores throw all the papers away! Ask if the store will save the papers for you and you can have free coupons!!!!

The Rimmel coupon says “Only at Walmart” on it. Do you think that means that this product is only sold at Walmart, or that we can only use the q at Walmart, or neither?

Crystal at The Thrifty Mama says that ALL YOU has stated that they can actually be used anywhere. They’re a manufacturer coupon, so that would only make sense.

I don’t think that will work for the Softsoap. The $2 coupon is for the starter pump, which is priced at $7.99. The refills are $3.99 and there was only a $1 coupon for those.

For the Softsoap Pump I just found at my CVS today $2 coupon in a flyer by the regular ads which says store coupons for big savings. It also has a $2 off Veet making it a great buy! =)

These deals look great, and I am really interested in several of them, however, I had a horrible time the other night at Walmart with my printable coupons!! The lady said that my printer printed too dark…is this a common complaint?..do you have trouble with your printables?…do other stores take them, when Walmart won’t?? Only 2 of my 5 coupons scanned, AND I was still overcharged by over $3…not a good first couponing experience…lol! I would love to use coupons, but do not wish for the same scenerio again and again…you can read about my experience at my blog , the post is titled “Retiring”…you would probably get a HUGE laugh out of it…lol!

    Any suggestions??

    Your blog is wonderful..btw!

    God Bless,
    Brandi

I was able to do the SoftSoap deal today wth the RIB $2 off coupon on the refills, so it does work. I got several coupon inserts from my store last week (had a big stack out of them) and so I bought the limit on the deal (let me get 4) and I earned $16 in ECB’s and was able to pay the small balance after coupon with other ECB’s.

I AM NEW AT THE CVS DEALS. I HAVE A QUESTION. WHEN I SHOP AT WALGREENS IF YOU USE A RR BUCK ON A PURCHASE THAT YOU WOULD GET A RR FOR YOU DO NOT GET THE RR. SO MY QUESTIONS IS. IF I PAY FOR A ITEM I WOULD GET A ECB WITH A ECB WILL I STILL GET THE EARNED ECB FOR THE NEW ITEM I PURCHASED? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME.

Hi Patcheepoo. First of all, you actually can roll RRs at Walgreens. The issue is that you can’t roll RRs from one deal on the same deal to keep it going. However, if you have RRs from a different deal, you can use those to pay and still earn more RRs.

CVS is different though. You don’t have to worry about any of that. ECBs will roll regardless of whether it’s the same deal or not.

    Hope that makes sense!

When you say you will buy more inserts, do you just mean buy extra papers?

I just stopped by my local CVS to pick up my free Rimmel mascara (coupon from ALL YOU) when I noticed this. The coupon has a maximum value of $6.47 and the mascara was priced at over $7. I was trying to get the free mascara deal, along with the BOGO deal going on all rimmel cosmetic products. Does anyone know if I would have been able to do this? Or does anyone know if the Rimmel mascara is priced at $6.47 or below at Wal-mart? Maybe that’s why the coupon reads “At Wal-mart only?”

    Thanks!

I just wanted to share this great deal with all of you. I went to CVS and bought Glade lasting impressions for $5.99 (on sale, usually $8.99 in my area) and used a $4 off coupon for a total of $1.99. Then I received a $1 ECB. I went back another day this week and purchased an 8 pack of Scott paper towels which were on sale at CVS for $5.49. I used a coupon for $1 off Scott paper towels as well as the $1 off ECB, making my Scott paper towels $3.49! Great deal if you use paper towels, and Glade lasting impresssions!!!

Natosha-yes, the Rimmel mascara is $7.49 at CVS, but they also have it on sale this week at buy one get one free. If you stack their sale with the coupon, you get TWO mascaras for $1.02 + tax. Using the coupon at Wal Mart would get you one free, but a second one would cost $6.47…so CVS is the much better deal this week if you want more than one. Hope that helps!

Natosha-yes, the Rimmel mascara is $7.49 at CVS, but they have it on sale at but one get one free this week. If you get two at CVS and use your coupon, the second one rings up free, plus you get $6.47 off the first one…which gives you a grand total of $1.02 for two. Two at Wal Mart would cost $6.47 (sticker price for one, free for the other), so if you are looking to stock up, CVS is the place to use the coupon this week. I bought two, so I know it works :)

Sorry for the double post…I got a connection time error message the first time, and when I refreshed the page my comment still wasn’t showing up, so I figured it wasn’t there. Suddenly both showed up after submitting my second comment. My apologies!
