I’m kinda new too- how do the ECB deals work when it’s buy 2/get ECB, but the limit is 3?

    Looks like a great list.

For your reference, I did use a BOGO coupon on the BOGO50% Covergirl deal last week and I got both for 50% of one. Coupled with a $3/$15, it was nearly free.

Awesome – thanks for the tip, Busymom!

Heidi, to max out the deal, you’d need to purchase 6 items. Each purchase of 2 is credited as one towards the limit.

I’m interested in hearing more as well, Jen. I’ve never tried using Wags store coupons at CVS. Have you had success with this?

Kate- I am with you. Maybe it is a regional thing. I am in VA and can’t seem to locate it. Maybe I’m not going crazy!

Thank you so much for the continued great deals. I check your website daily.

Thank you! Can I ask one more question? Do the products have to be purchased in the same transaction to get the ECBs? I noticed they keep track of how many you’ve bought at the bottom of the receipts- will the ECBs print once you’ve bought two even if I buy one tomorrow and another one Monday?

    Heidi,
You don’t have to do them in the same trans. Sometimes it’s more beneficial to do them separately (so that you’re able to use more of the $/$$ CVS coupons or to use some ECBs to pay for the transaction).

    Tara-
Thanks for the shout-out!! I appreciate it!! :-)

I noticed several of the coupons that were listed to come today, I didn’t get either (incl. speed stick, garnier, etc.). I’m wondering if some of us didn’t get an insert…

In my home delivery paper I only received one Smart Source. However the twoo papers I picked up at the store had 2 Rp and 2SS. I am going to email the customer care department for my local paper and ask why the difference.

I was sad to not find the Garnier, Mennon or L’Oreal coupons in my paper this morning. I guess the marketing depts don’t think we wear make-up or deorderant in Wisconsin!

I tried to use the Colgate coupon from the Aetna newsletter and was DENIED at CVS – they said it was a ‘copy’ and they wouldn’t accept it! Anyone else have this issue?

I was able to use 2 prints of the Colgate coupon. Maybe try printing the entire page and taking that in? Explain it is from an electronic newsletter and that is how it is meant to be used. My cashier couldn’t scan it though and had to enter it manually.

I did not get the speedstick nor the atkins.

I also wanted to post my local CVS had soy joy bar boxes $6.00 with $6.00 ECB back = FREE. I didnt see this posted anywhere. (I may have overlooked it but wanted to post it just in case it is valid in other stores)

And was curious if the Walgreens easy saver worked at CVS also…I accidently used a coupon from the paper that said only Walgreens and they didn’t accept it….it was a either cover girl or loreal …OOPS

It seems that they took down the colgate coupon off.. :(.. but i did get a good deal off the cottonelle.. What I did is I bought 2 packs of Cottonelle so that makes it 25.94 – .50¢(mnfs cpn.) – $4/20 = 21.44(pay) and get $8 ECB’s which makes it 13.44 after ECB’s. Which if you do the math its almost like getting a BO/GO FREE! pretty cool… just fyi

I know this is a CVS blog, but I just had to let ya know about this deal…..
I just came back from my local Kroger and found out that their colgate is 2 for $3 and I found someone who pdf the athena pages.

    https://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?p=14141699#post14141699

Sorry I dont know how to make it a link, but once you get to the website click dont click on the link click on the Aetna_dental_advice_and_coupon.pdf file and it will come up.. I printed 2 and took it to Kroger and explained that I printed it off a Aetna newsletter online… and they were pretty cool with it. so all I had to pay is for taxes!
